Not sure if any of you are familiar with the tradition of the Brass Rat, but it's the MIT class ring, each year has a different design. Standard features are the beaver (school mascot) sitting on 8 ivy leaves (guess that what represents) on the bezel with the school seal on one side and the class year and dome on the other side.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it 🙂 got it in 18k gold

Not bad. Not bad at all, I wouldn't have gone with the black paint, but I like it.

I'd probably brag if I was graduating from MIT.

But this thread is hardly bragging. It's just pics of a class ring. MIT rings are very distinctive. It's cool to see the different designs.
 
Ohhh you think you're so good eh? My turn to brag now 😛

For the sake of non-repitition up the wahzoo, I'll try and highlight some of the things Chrono didn't cover. My pics are resized, so don't complain!
For reference, my ring is white gold as opposed to his yellow gold, and my bezel is "extra small" instead of his "medium".

(it's scary how my camera captures these invisible to the eye scratches on my ring and makes it look like a huge gash in the picture)

We have a different skyline on each side of the ring. (Those of you familiar with Boston might appreciate the details here) We wear it with the Boston skyline facing us until we graduate...

Then we flip the ring to have this side facing us, because we're now looking back at MIT from the outside.
