Meanwhile the top posts in the Asia region have been empty since Trump took office. No Ambassador to SK. No Deputy Assistant Secretary to East Asia. The list goes on.

Do people even realize, that this administration doesn't think we even need an ambassador to South Korea while we in the middle of the biggest cluster fuck in modern day history?
 
Not sure how I should feel about this, Rex has been completely incompetent and has kept all his CEO qualities which are not a benefit to his position, he has a "friend of Russia" award which given our time that is not exactly a thing to be proud of.
I will say he has been less of an oil & Trump stooge than I expected which is good to see but should be expected (similar to the Chris Rock bit "I take care of my kids...")

Oh he's a Trump stooge all right, you think the destruction of the state department is an accident.
 
The handwriting has been on the wall ever since "f***ing moron." Only reason he wasn't already fired is because Kelly urged Trump to keep him till New Years.
 
Holy. Shit. There is a rumor going around some liberal boards that Trump was intentionally tweeting anti-muslim videos in order to spark riots at US embassies and force Tillerson out. Did he learn nothing from Benghazi?????

I don't believe it, but it's bad enough that State Department officials immediately went into damage control mode and beefed up security at certain posts.
