They already stated that Kelly doesn't want to fire him until the end of the year because it looks terrible. He's gone in December.

America needs to tell Trump that he's fired.
Have you watched this press conference? Look at how many times Trump looks over to Rex for support and watch Rex's eyes as Trump blows out the dumbest oration on earth. He isn't fit to speak to the kennels at an animal shelter.

I'll say Tillerson can stay secretary of state and say whatever he wants as long as he never ever takes credit for anything.
This, although mainly because every President wants at least one cabinet member not in danger of being indicted.

Looks like Rex is in trouble again and is being blamed for the internal turmoil..

http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/16/politics/rex-tillerson-state-department-criticism/index.html

Seems to me Tillerson wants to shrink the Dept. down to a size where he can micromanage it, plug all the holes where damaging leaks can come out from and then get on with the marching orders he's been given from Wall St. et al. It's part and parcel of how a nice tidy iron grip over the people's business gets done.

IOW, it's the takeover of the government by Big Business profiteers that's the main cause for a lot of the sketchy things that's going on in the Capital. It's the spillover of greed and the intense desire from the business sector for instant profits no matter who it hurts because "it's just business".

Even more tensions between Trump and the State Department are emerging. This current administration is truly the greatest show on earth and I'm feeling like Rex won't make it through the end of the year.

Gawd. Show the world that our govt is in total disarray by snubbing an event sponsored by our own State Dept. Tillerson is apparently as much an igoramus as Trump.

Looking like he can’t leave soon enough. This is disturbing.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/24/us/politics/state-department-tillerson.html

But in his first nine months in office, Mr. Tillerson turned down repeated and sometimes urgent requests from the department’s security staff to brief him, according to several former top officials in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Finally, Mr. Miller, the acting assistant secretary for diplomatic security, was forced to cite the law’s requirement that he be allowed to speak to Mr. Tillerson.

Mr. Miller got just five minutes with the secretary of state, the former officials said. Afterward, Mr. Miller, a career Foreign Service officer, was pushed out, joining a parade of dismissals and early retirements that has decimated the State Department’s senior ranks. Mr. Miller declined to comment.

OK Who had the end of the year?

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/30/us/politics/state-department-tillerson-pompeo-trump.html

WASHINGTON — The White House has developed a plan to force out Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson, whose relationship with President Trump has been strained, and replace him with Mike Pompeo, the C.I.A. director, within the next several weeks, senior administration officials said on Thursday.

Mr. Pompeo would be replaced at the C.I.A. by Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas who has been a key ally of the president on national security matters, according to the White House plan. Mr. Cotton has signaled that he would accept the job if offered, said the officials, who insisted on anonymity to discuss sensitive deliberations before decisions are announced.

On the plus side for Tom Cotton he might get to start that war with Iran, an idea that he's been masturbating furiously to for years

Come on. It's Arkansas. A freaking accused pedophile is leading in Alabama right now. The bar is *THAT* low.
