I agree with what he says in that video, but I dislike the emotional manipulation of the music. Of course, that is not on him- that is on who made the clip.
I have been saying for years that the USA should not go to war unless the Congress approves an official declaration of War. Either give the President all the war powers or none.

Your sister makes political decisions from Youtube videos? That is so sad I'm not sure what to say.
Yeah, rather than basing your vote on youtube videos of candidates presenting their campaign platform, you should be basing it off of how many times Hannity praises the candidate, and how many ads you see the person kiss a baby. Don't forget attack ads, and voting party line. That's how you should vote.
I would think looking at someone's history would be a good place to start. Maybe I'm just crazy, but if a elected representative is running, looking at what they've done, and how they've voted is a pretty judge of character. Too bad others don't.
Also I tend not to vote for people who think that the Civil Rights Act was a mistake. Gotta keep them darkies in their place is his reasoning.

Some of what he says sounds good, but the reality of it is that he would still have to deal with Congress, and it's likely that none of his "reforms" would ever come to pass, making him another Jimmy Carter...a man with good ideals who accomplished nothing.
Yeah, but I've about decided politicians accomplishing nothing is better than politicians accomplishing something. Definitely better than accomplishing bad somethings.
Yes, and they are retarded. I would say not spraying black people with water in the middle of streets, and not having them segregated is an actual good thing.
He did not disagree with the laws that were brought down because of this act. He simply states that it did not do anything for race relations.
I can attest to what he said. I am a student at the University of Houston, the second most diverse campus in the nation. While the campus is quite diverse the majority still segregate themselves amongst their respective races. This is also the case in my experience with the public school system.
In no place did I read that Ron Paul thought spraying black people in the middle of the streets was ever a good idea or morally sound.
