The return of Corel Linux in disguse ?

Corel Linux was repackaged Debian (woody at the time I believe) with a new installer and a file manager. Not a whole lot to "pick up" from =)

It was a pretty slick distro. They also had a front end gui thing for dselect or apt-get. Cant remember exactly, I havent used it in *AGES*. It seemed a little slow to me, but that was probably KDE.

corel linux was the first in gui-based linux installations... that's how i got seriously started on linux way back when.

Good.

It's not something I'd like to use (I really hate those GUI-centric distros) but if it's anything like Corel was, I WOULD recommend it to someone who wants to give Linux a try. 🙂
