Make what public? That I oppose our government's foreign policy? I thought that was obvious to everyone by now.

I think he is asking you who's side you are on. Quite frankly after reading some of your posts, you seem pretty damn anti-American - especially when you claimed not to have sympathy for fallen soldiers.

Stop being deliberately obtuse.

Who's side are you on?

I have lots of sympathy, but the suffering of our soldiers garners a proportionately small amount of it.

So... no answer to the question.

How can you sit there and sh!t on the very people who protect your liberties?

Sorry, can you back up a little and show the logical connection between Iraq and my liberties?

As for your other question, can you tell me what sides there are, so I may tell you which one I'm on.

Or are there only two sides: you're either with us, or against us. Pure trash.

I'm not. I just think you owe a little more respect to our men in uniform. They protect our freedom. They fight and die for our country... no matter the cause.

...and you still have not answered the question.

Well I'm asking you, if you want me to pick sides, tell me what the teams are. Or is this a "with us or against us" type decision?

Ok - I'll frame it for you this way. Your current sig states:

"The United States Was Created By Insurgents"

Does that mean you side with the insurgents or our soldiers?

Given that you have said you have no sympathy for the soldiers before, does that mean you side with the insurgents?

So then they are not fighting for our freedoms in Iraq. They have been reduced to a tool for our administration's political and economic purposes. That's really too bad for them, but their uniform alone doesn't demand the respect of their people, their actions do.

And unfortunately, their actions so far demand no respect.

Here's you opportunity for sig material here...

Insurgents or American soldiers? Pick.

Holy crap, I was wrong this whole time. It was President Clinton that led us into war with Iraq. Even though the war began three years after Bush was elected.

Clinton, Bush, what does it matter?

"These events have divided the whole world into two sides. The side of believers and the side of infidels, may God keep you away from them. Every Muslim has to rush to make his religion victorious. The winds of faith have come. The winds of change have come to eradicate oppression from the island of Muhammad, peace be upon him."

Make it public, jpeyton.

Which side are you on?

Just to be clear, which continuum is it you are attempting to reduce to binary logic?

As do I and that will come when those fighting us stop or are destroyed. We let down the Iraqi people after the first gulf war but we won't let them down this time.

A lot of morons still believe Iraq has/had WMDs when we started the war.

A lot of morons believe Bush was a better choice for the President.

The world has no shortage of morons on either side.

And alot of morons actually still think Kerry won and alot of morons like you actually thought Kerry had a shot to beat Bush! But alas, the smart ones knew he didn't.

A lot of morons like you have a problem with sh!t*eating cockroaches from outerspace.

Wow. That was eloquent.
I have this sneaking suspicion that you're missing part of the equation.

WTF have you all done to my beautiful thread?!

Anyways, all kidding aside, and to get back ON topic, it's a little sad to see how many people actually latch on to these wild stories. The person who originally sent me this was a white female, but the idea of this sort of conspiracy was so exciting, she didn't question the validity of these claims. Of course i couldn't counter it, do i have research that shows a nuclear detonation in water can't cause a tsunami large enough to do this?

Yes, the paranoid are having a field day with this.

We had a pastor quoted in our newspaper saying it was God's way of punishing the non-Christians.

How depressing that people can take a tragedy like this and twist it to fit their beliefs (whether it is a conspiracy theory or Revelations End Time drivel, it's all the same to me).

I have always believed that God does not punish those he does not care about. As a Catholic, I believe the mentioned pastor couldn't be more wrong.

Why am I not surprised..

In my case it's because I already heard this, or a similar story.

It is just as likely the arabs caused this because they removed so much oil that it caused the continental shef to move. Must be all those drums they beat in Africa.
Am I the only guy who wonders if that US submarine plowing full-speed into an uncharted underwater mountain in the Pacific had anything to do with the movement of tectonic plates that caused the tsunami?

Edit: Uh, duly note, people, that the submarine accident happened after the tsunami.
