Apparently it varies by company, and I don't know if ASUS's GPU Tweak is accurate or not, but that program says my Sapphire OC 7850 is at 1.075V stock.

My sapphire 7850 defaults at 1.075. The asic rating is 87. I have it mining at 1175mhz @ 1.055 volt which is awesome. My max stable for gaming so far is 1225mhz @ 1.175 volts.

Not sure if fully stable but able to pass Unigine. Temps below 70 degrees but the scores are low. Anyone know why scores are so low? CPU and memory? I'm still on DDR-2 =þ.

Memory is way too high. Bring it down to 5600 and retest. Also your cpu is a bottleneck

I have it mining at 1175mhz @ 1.055 volt which is awesome.

the card handled 1150mhz with default voltage (1.075). With a slight voltage increase to 1.107 it ran fine at 1200 Mhz while gaming.

gotta stop using gaming as a benchmark. run unigine so it loops 3-4 times and see if it crashes. your voltages are way too low for those clocks for true stability.

Played with 5400-5600, 5500 gave me the best scores. Jumped from 6341 to 6953 graphics score in 3Dmark 11.

That Phenom II may be somewhat of a bottleneck, but not by much. Just search through the score database on the futuremark site and see how you compare. Also your score is pretty close to the 7850 reviews on other tech sites that are using sandy bridge processors.

Don't be scared of ivy. I've been running at 4.5ghz on stock volts on air with no issues whatsoever

Yeah I agree. Just to make sure, is stock voltage what the ASUS tool defaults to? For example, when I first started the tool, it set it at 920/5000 @ 1.21v. Thanks.

My card is defaulting to 1.2v as well. I've decided to remove the Asus tool for now and just overclock to 1050 in CCC.

Does MVP only help with 3Dmark? I haven't really seen any gains on games.
