Not sure the new MSI card coming out will have two connectors unless there is a source with better information saying otherwise.

Nor the XFX.

Don't do hearsay, we need some concrete fact or statements that a 7850 2 pin is coming out...

Anyone?

Memory is way too high. Bring it down to 5600 and retest. Also your cpu is a bottleneck

Played with 5400-5600, 5500 gave me the best scores. Jumped from 6341 to 6953 graphics score in 3Dmark 11.

How come some people are able to control the voltage but I'm not? Is it something to do with the bios?

Nice OC. Stock cooler ?
Asus DC-II cooler

You using Asus GPU Tweak right? I was limited to 1165 mv with newest version. Reinstall with 2.06, can tweak up to 1296.

Very nice. My 1125 core / 1400 mem run

I am currently #1 for Single 7850 score with MVP Enabled

Damn this Phenom II is slow =(, my plan was to upgrade to Ivy Bridge, but I'm scare of the heat and worst overclocks compare to Sandy.

That Phenom II may be somewhat of a bottleneck, but not by much. Just search through the score database on the futuremark site and see how you compare. Also your score is pretty close to the 7850 reviews on other tech sites that are using sandy bridge processors.

Don't be scared of ivy. I've been running at 4.5ghz on stock volts on air with no issues whatsoever

So I got my Sapphire OC 7850 last week and my stock voltage is 1.21v. Should I be concerned? Right now I am clocked at 1125/5400 @ 1.21v using the ASUS Tweak Tool. I tried to hit 1200/5400 @ 1.21v but benchmarking fails.

I don't mind increasing the volts but am concerned about lifespan of the card. Any thoughts? Thanks.

My card is defaulting to 1.2v as well. I've decided to remove the Asus tool for now and just overclock to 1050 in CCC.

Did you guys click the unlock button on the Asus tweak so you could set the voltage manually?
