Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Amazon on Tuesday introduced a new add-on to its Prime subscription allowing users to pay a flat rate for prescription drugs.

I think the fierce competition from the likes of Walmart, Mark Cuban's new company, Amazon and other large online prescription drug providers soon to come might well do for pharmacy drug prices what places like Zenni did for eyeglasses.

I am in favor of anything that helps people get access to medication they need for the lowest cost possible.
