It's also the subject of Gardner's own just-released book, "The Pursuit of Happyness." The unique spelling of "happiness" is intentional.

I'm really looking forward to this movie. Will Smith will be playing the father. Comes out this Xmas. Didn't know there was a book. Gonna go and check it out.

Will Smith doesn't disappoint as an actor and I heard his son will be in the movie as well. Apparently, the little one is pretty good.
