I imagine that it would only be closer to ~20% that are truly pissed-off: the hard-core Trump Nazi fellaters. The regular republicans would probably sigh relief because all that matters is "republican" in the chair, and they "really only ever wanted" holy man Mike Pence in there to turn this country into the true Christian Caliphate that they always wanted.
 
Also to be remembered, Speaker Ryan only had his job because the last speaker was ousted by a right wing coup. It's not certain he wouldn't also suffer the same fate.
 
That Vice footage is incredible, both the interview and the march footage that CNN aired in the cold open of AC360. I'm simultaneously terrified that I live in a country where people now feel free to behave that way in the open and thrilled that we can identify them easily. Generations past had the common sense to hide their identities, when this passes (and it will) all of those idiots will find themselves on the wrong side of history (and far from the border).

The virtuous calling out people they think were at the rally and ruining people's lives (even though they get it wrong sometimes) is the sign of a rabid mob. And yeah bringing shields with nazi signs on it to a damned rally over a statue is the sign of a rabid mob also. This county is going to hell and yeah both sides are accountable, and both sides love the play the victim to justify what they do.

There may be more to the press conference, like I said I'm just going off the article. Knowing trump it's worded poorly and inflammatory, but yeah the hard left and alt right are both POS's.

I will soon, I've been so damned busy the past couple of days. I agree that white supremacist/Nazi/whatever you want to call them are always goi g to be in the wrong. That's not a blanket justification of any and all things done by those that oppose them though.
