Well the key in that statement was he said he could be. You know if he wanted to, but its pretty obvious that up to this point he hasn't wanted to be the most Presidential ever or even remotely act Presidential.

That's easy. It will entirely depend on which state or district they are running in. In deep red areas where Trump remains popular, they'll stand by him. In others, they'll run away from him like the wind. It's always going to be a 100% political calculation. Principles will not factor in.

I honestly don't know how you see him go on a tirade like that and not resign. I hope it's out of a sense that he can still make a positive difference, but I don't know, I'm not sure I could stick around. Unfortunately, though, no matter how many people abandon Trump, he will never see it as a problem with him. He is INCAPABLE of viewing himself in any negative light.

Yep if this isn't a "Fuck this noise, I'm out moment"...just wait till we have a legitimate national threat. Seriously...*ANY* other CEO or public figure that came out with remarks like this would be asked for a resignation within hours. But arguably the most important position in the free world making remarks like this? Takes literally an act of congress.

We should be ashamed as a country. And have the backbone to do what's right to correct it.

My hope is that someone like Kelly is standing in there so that when that "legitimate national threat" comes and Trump starts to be Trump, Kelly can quite literally punch him in the dick and tell him to STFU. I know, slim glimmer of hope, but I have it.
