I guess I'll start since I started the thread.

go to "full_size_pics" for the large ones, the old directory is pics from a few months back.

The topmost one is the most pertinent, the rest is basically to show the layout of my room. The door with the blue cover over it is to the common room (multiple renters) and I use that to insulate it better since they tend to like it at 90F out there. The door with the material on it is the bathroom door, the one with the paper taped to it is the closet.

i like the setup. why 2 TV's though?

Thanks! 🙂
There are zero TVs. the one up on the wall is unplugged and never used, that came with the place. CRTs below 85Hz refresh (which includes TVs) give me nausea when watching them, so I never use TVs. The CRT monitor on top the wire rack shelf is an NEC AccuSync 75F, good old reliable high quality tube, but can only do 1024x768@85hz, so I use it for my GBPVR (freeware windows PVR software, think homebuilt tivo) computer which is hidden behind my chair on the bottom of the shelf. If you look closely, you will see a couple VGA extension cables sitting below my main LCD, those are for my server and for the PVR machine. The server runs a buff bot in Asheron's Call (old MMO that allows bots), and does other menial tasks. I use the KVM switch only for switching the keyboard, the mouse is USB only (wont work with PS/2 protocol) so I have to plug it in manually to the other boxes... bot most of the time I just use synergy as a software KM switch.

I'd have to post a pic of my lap, that's where my macbook sits when I'm using it. BTW, nice choice in reading material, I love the Pern books.

Thanks 🙂 they are my favorite book series ever. I actually started a thread here about it a bit ago, search for "ramoth and mnementh" to find it!

Mundane: Wow, that setup looks like a corporate office setup. I like it! 🙂
Megatomic: typo. I spelled it right in the thread I am talking about. lemme fix my post here.

LOL you ask him for pics of his wife without realizing I, the thread starter, am a woman? for shame! 😛

That is my cordless drill I use for working on computers. My wrists don't work too well anymore (psoriasistic arthritis) so I have to have something to turn the screws for me. I got that for $50 years ago, and its been a better investment then a small POS ever would have been.

Well I could post my workstation, but it isn't clean. At all. I think I have my own little colony of mice living in front of my monitor but behind the keyboard.

If you wanna see a pic of me, Ill have to see one of you first, since you asked. And it must be believeable. And G rated.
