I love my 2005FPW. It's big, wide, and bright. Makes movies (and soon to be HDTV) look pretty.

Fixed for my uses 😀

Fixed for my uses. 😛

I love how my 19" screen has more viewing area than a 2005FPW, and that my text looks larger. A 20" widescreen is only as tall as a 17" 4:3 LCD. Otherwise I could've just gotten a 17" panel for the same text size as a 2005FPW and have to strain my eyes. Meanwhile I can lean back and still read perfectly fine on my 19" screen. I also like how my 19" screen has awesome colors (VP191b) and kicks the crap out of any TN panel (yes I have tried the Samsung 930B for 2 months).

Yep looked at many 20" widescreen monitors (including the 2005FPW) and they seem too small for my taste. I'm used to a 19" 4:3 monitor and the vertical length on my monitor is greater than the 20" widescreen monitors. I'm waiting to get the 23" or 24" widescreen monitors.

I like your speaker arrangement...

i don't get the "5-speakers-in-front" arrangement. (or are 2 of them manually moved to the rear when needed?)

Kinda hard to move the speakers behind me when my bed is behind my chair 😛 Besides, having speakers stands in the middle of my floor (if I had the space) is a waste of space and inconvenient

I have a 2001FP and love it. I'm pawning my ViewSonic P22f+ off on my roomate and getting a 2405FPW as soon as I do.

Ditto. And got it new for only $389...

Same here. And I only paid $345 for mine. In March.
