The Porsche 911 just got UGLIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just when I thought that the 996 series couldn't get any worse styling wise (now I do LOVE the 996 Carrera 2, Carrera 4, and GT3...but the 996 Turbo is horrid IMHO), Porsche goes over the top with this one.

This is truly a riced out 911 straight from the factory if there ever was one. I think that the 996 911 Turbo is an ugly piece of sh!t, and the new GT2 takes that Turbo body and smeres fresh feces all over it!!

Gawd this thing is FUGLY!!!!!

You're right - its far too off the Porsche look, it looks more like some stupid concept vehicle than a 911.

Actually, I kinda like it... I have always HATED the 911. I thought it was the ugliest "super" car around. But the new one kinda has some slick style.

Actually I don't think it looks that bad. It's just something about the way the front bumper juts out that strikes me as a little off.

yeah that front cowling to the ground really ruins it, and the lights are just a little too. . . busy. . the cowling is bad looking on the gt2, it doesnt look too bad on the others. maybe in a nice red, or a good purple

That 3rd pic down shows how much like ass that front looks, but the rest is pure class IMO. Actually I think it's friggin gorgeous except for the frontend (headlights and all)

I guess everyone has its own taste cuz I think the 996 turbo is the best looking car out there. Doesn't look so good on some pics but in real life (in another color than ugly silver) it just looks amazing. The carrera gt looks like crap IMO, I'll give you that, and the gt2 seems to be only a slightly modded turbo, but I still thinks it looks good.

What's nice is that it's a true sports car, it's small and compact and doesn't have a 30 foot long hood like american sports cars...

NFS4, I must disagree about the "rice" statement, while I think the car is quite busy and needs to be a little quieter stylistically, I have serious doubts that any factory Porsche can be "rice". On a "rice" car, the spoilers do no work and all the scoops and vents go nowhere and serve no actual mechanical purpose, on the Porsche, however, these items undoubtedly serve true aerodynamic and cooling purposes. That said, they are still ugly as sin. Personally, the 911 was best looking in the early 1980's, and in the last air cooled variant (993 I think), but I could do without the corrent Boxster resemblance in the current model. Of course my taste in cars is a little odd, I think the Porsche 914/6 was one of the best looking cars ever made.
