I don't agree with that statement...die hard Trumpers are only between 10-12% of the voting population. The real problem is that the Republican Party has been so fucktarded since 2010 and pushing so hard right that they lost their goddamn base and nobody noticed. Trump won the primary with "record numbers" because all the crazies came out and no one wanted to show up for Bush, Rubio, Cruz, etc. etc.

Yup this is true... and part of the reason why is because they are so bloody intolerant. They cant even tolerate themselves. They cant even tolerate their own candidates. They hated McCain and Romney too.

Yup, it still begs the same question of republican primary voters. What were they thinking? I mean that seriously, like what did they think Trump was going to look like as a serious contender for the highest office on Earth? Are you thinking of NBCnews.com? Either way, no. An online poll is nothing. A single poll is nothing. The only poll to look at is RCP, because they are not a pollster. They just monitor all of the legit polls (one of them is nbcnews, not nbcpolls) and average them out. They have been spot on, for many many election cycles.
