just picked up the greatest hits cd off ebay. i like all the songs except the 86 remake of "dont stand so close to me".

The Police are beyond timeless classics and forefather of punk and classic rock.

Listen to some Stewart Copeland solo stuff, then listen to Outlands d'Amore and you can clearly see his early influence on the music. Then Sting's confidance in his music really started to catch up to his confidance in his lyrics.
