I guess strong means independent. Women of other ethnicities, however, don't use this adjective at all or as often.

One has to use the word strong to describe an independent black woman because without it, it seems they dependent or dey weak. Type "cosign" if you agree or "smh" if you disagree.

This is closed unfortunately for the few that just can't seem to help themselves with their callouts of the mods.

If a woman describes herself as a "strong independent woman" it means she wants your dick. And not in the good way 😛

I mean imagine if a man went around describing himself as a "strong independent man"... you would probably think there was something wrong with him.

Strong black women loves them some double negatives.

I'd like to respond to this thread and give my opinion of what the phrase "stong black woman" means to me, but the recent string of bullshit infractions for "stealth racism" make me think otherwise. Seems like everytime there is a black related thread here, people here can't even speak an honest and non-racist thought without incurring some violation. Bowing out of this thread...

You should have bowed out before you posted.

Heh. Complaining about their BS has gotten me warnings about mod callouts. They require you to bring your complaints in the moderator discussions where they can gang up on you in secret. Shows you how secure they are in their moderating.

You already know better to to bait the mods and call them out.

This thread will be closed very quickly. But people who live by these labels are not the ones to label themselves. In other words if you call yourself a strong black woman that means you are not one.

I also like it when community leaders talk about the "black community". When the Mall of America implemented a no kids under 13 policy in evenings or something like that spokespeople said it was affect the black community the most and this was a bad policy.

i hooked up with a strong black woman in college a few times.
Her glutes were massive and it made my wiener a little afraid.
