Mine is a steel doorknob in a tubesock. That could do some serious damage.

I saw Dennis Leary use a metal toaster in some movie a while back, cannot remember the name. Wrapped the cord around his fist and beat a guy with it.

Oh yeah, car keys between the fingers.
 
Professional jump rope. Whip those things around and they HURT! Not to mention they're strangle-friendly items.

and this is the reason why I consider gun control stupid - people can use just about anything to kill someone else with. Heck I could use my computer power cord to kill someone with 😉
