"The Scotsman" - Mike Cross

Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar on evening fair
And one could tell by how we walked that he drunk more than his share
He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet
Then he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

About that time two young and lovely girls just happend by
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See yon sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold, for them to see, beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

They marveled for a moment, then one said we must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend, before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon, tied into a bow
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show

Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled towards a tree
Behind a bush, he lift his kilt and gawks at what he sees
And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes.
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize

Those are the only two I've found.

Someone else who knows of The Wingless!
VG mixes rock :)

His Secret of Mana water temple remix "Aphrodite Oceanus" is similar to that SMB one if you haven't heard it.

So I'll have to stick with the Tribute.

:)
LOL, the Tenacious DVD is definitely worth a rental for all the HBO shows, including the Tribute episode.

Aimee Mann - "It's Not Safe"
Fiona Apple - "Loveridden"
Richard Thompson - "Dimming of the Day", "Waltzing's for Dreamers", ....

...and .so many more I'd be typing all afternoon.

I honestly cannot decide.
So I will say that the 2 best songs to come out in the 90's are:

Live - Lightning Crashes
STP - Plush

Any other decade and too many songs come to mind

Alice in Chains - Nutshell

This one is perfect too.... I think its the only song I've ever heard that'll make me depressed no matter when I hear it.

Yep. You can do a slow dance at the beginning, then slowly move into crazy head banging near the end!

How do you pick a "perfect song"? They're so subjective...

I'll just throw down a couple I really like:

U2 - With or Without You
Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under the Bridge

Are you going through my Mp3's notfred? :Q

good songs...

Well, I have several "perfect" songs, one of which is

Tool - The Patient
Lateralus

And if there were no rewards to reap,
No loving embrace to see me through
This tedious path I've chosen here,
I certainly would've walked away by now.
And I still may.

This song has significant meaning to me at this point in my life.

There is no such thing as perfection, just subjective connections based on the culmination of experience into thought and feeling(wherein thought and feeling are also a form of experience).
