Remember, 'perfect' when talking about a potential mate, is just a variable term meaning 'whatever I find attractive in a person at the current time', and is bound to change at least once every ten minutes. Factor that into your little equation, and chances are you'll find someone who's perfect for you at some given time. And 10 years later, that person will no longer be perfect. That's life (feel free to thank evolution or genetics or god for that trick they play on us).

There most definitely a "special someone" for everyone. I married mine last May. Can't believe it took me 30+ years to meet her.
Keep on living, you'll know her when you meet her.

A year after we were married, Mr Isla told me that he could have married a number of other women and that they would be just as good as me, just different.

My response?

Well then what the hell am I doing here?

Word to the wise: Don't EVER tell your significant other something like that. He or she will not be amused.

<< ~4.5 billion people in the world >>

--bigbootydaddy

Sorry, but the population went over 6 billion sometime last year I think (or was it the year before?). Don't you remember the big thing about the 6 billionth baby? They actually picked one out as being the 6 billionth.

I'm a romantic at heart, but i've come to the inevitable heartbreaking conclusion that not everyone is lucky enough or deserving enough for the one. So, i'll settle for mind altering sex, intellectual conversation, mutual attraction, and a sense of humor. Until then, beer and strip clubs will suffice...hehe

There is no perfect one...

The hard cold truth is all relationships are work...

But it is the effort that forms them into something wonderful!!!

...of course the warm fuzzies don't hurt either!!!

Neo is the one for me!!!!
