I feel like some folks aren't quite ready to accept what's happening right now. Entire sections of the government are either being shut down entirely or gutted for purposes of shutting it down/reimagining it for future use. I mean this in complete sincerity, the US government may be unrecognizable within 60 days. Like 'I'm glad I got my tax return already' unrecognizable.

I’m well aware, doesn’t make his constant shit posting “hurr durr democrats dead” any less useless or irritating.

Maybe I shouldn’t bother filing my taxes this year, had large bills due the last four or five years running.

File but be sure to push your charitable contributions past the "this feels normal" point. I think missing the filing gains more attention than a filing with excessive contributions.

Canada doesn't really buy much from America.. they have all the oil and gas they will ever need.

Maybe cars but car makers making $100k cars have done more to damage car sales than anyone else.

Our government was warned and simply asked to fix the border but chose to ignore him, this is on them. We need an election and we need it yesterday, but instead they shut down parliament until late March to focus on themselves instead of the country. Apparently Trudeau will speak soon though, I'm sure he must be annoyed that he has to work on a weekend!

This is going to hurt until we can elect a proper government but I pretty much knew that already as soon as Trump got elected. The silver lining is this will hopefully be the final nail in the coffin for the liberals. Polls are encouraging but I always take them with a grain of salt. https://338canada.com/

You're right. We we're warned about this deranged scum bags plan to cause economic chaos.

We should close the border and keep all you Americans out.

Close up shop, stop selling our oil and electricity. Revoke Musk's Canadian citizenship, nationalize everything he owns in Canada.

More illegal guns cross our border into Canada than anything significant going the other way.

If anything, we need protecting from America. Time to fully get back into the commonwealth.

Also about time we got our own nukes too. We're amongst the leaders in the nuclear field, and could get a full program up and running in months.

@Red Squirrel Welcome to America! trump will treat you like a third world country. He will take all of your resources (drill, baby, drill) and ignore the people. He will throw you into chaos like he's doing with the US. Musk will be visiting Canada as soon as he's finished with the US.
