The people have spoken because they think they voted for closing the border and lower gas/food prices and no more abortions. My wife's sister voted for Trump because of gas prices and food prices, she was posting about it on Facebook. She is normally a voter for Democrats. She is not friends with my wife on FB, but she forgot I am on there.

The thing is she is always asking us for money. She wanted money to help pay to fix her teeth and for a trip to London to see her daughter graduate. My wife finally grew a set and said nope, ask Trump for the money, or wait until he is in office and your personal wealth skyrockets. I am glad we can screw a Trump voter even if it's in such a small way. And I'm tired of funding her sister's poor decisions so maybe she will get herself back on track under Trump. But I doubt it.

I don't think I've seen any reasons in this thread why deporting illegal immigrants is going to help this country other than a false sense of moral superiority that they didn't come here the right way. This is coming from people whose ancestors most likely had to wait a few hours to get into the country (like mine did) so why should it be so much harder now where we make people spend thousands of dollars and like 7 years plus waiting to get in.

If what you say is true, why did Trump stop the bipartisan Senate Republican authored Border Control Bill from being enacted? That bill would have accomplished what even you would have wanted. So you see, it's not so much what the people of the nation wanted, it's what Trump wants and you know very well what that was and is.
