Hi all,

I got this motherbroad for few days, however, I found that the CPU temperature
is too high which arounds 50 degree (Reading From BIOS)

I am using Opertron 146 CPU

Just wonder you have the similar problem?

Moreover, the vcore voltage is 1.48 V, are you the same?

Did you use thermal compound with your HS? If so, it should have been a VERY thin coating. The purpose of thermal compound is to fill minute gaps and pits between the chip and the HS. Using anything more than the minimum necessary actually impares thermal transfer.

I have this motherboard with a 3000+ processor and my temps are 42 degrees when just surfing the web. This seems a bit high to me. Does the motherboard just not give an accurate depiction of the temperature or is this temp something i should be worried about? Thanks, Rob

I just use the original HS that come with the CPU, I found there is a layer
of substance in the bottom of HS which contact the surface of CPU

The layer of substance is green in color, is that normal?

It sounds like you used the stock thermal pad that came with the HS. If it's a retail chip, or you're sure the HS is rated for your chip, it's probably good enough if you don't live in an unusually warm area or you don't intend to o/c.

Do you have adequate fans and air circulation in your case?
