The only way to drink Wild Turkey is on the rocks

If this drink weren't ice cold I'd have trouble putting it down the hatch. Thank goodness for ice.

To make this thread relevant, name your favorite whiskey in this thread, scotch, bourbon or otherwise.

Mine: Glenlivet

I prefer Powers to Jameson myself ... actually I'm not a big whiskey drinker anymore at all really, but the best Single-Malt I ever had was some stuff a (wealthy) buddy of mine bought me way too many shots of a few years back that was in the range of $30 a shot... I'll be damned if i can remember the name but it went down like velvet.... if it comes to me I'll edit this post.

Beam, Jim Beam.....

Beam is awesome.. a good whiskey that the average Joe can buy. Then if you're feeling like spoiling yourself you can get the 12 year which is even more delicious.

Tullemore Dew

not many know about it... damn good stuff... a guy i used to work with introduced me to it; so good... damn, now i'm thirsty for some

Favorite - Either Knob Creek or Makers Mark. Woodford Reserve is some really good stuff too.

Favorite Canadian whiskey is Pendleton whiskey.

No real point in drinking blended neat IMO.
To each their own.
Tried it both ways, prefer it neat. I have to get around to trying a few single malts one of these days.

Canadian Club is fine for me.

Screen name matches your whiskey preference I see 🙂

Wild Turkey Rare Breed. Watered down 80-proofs suck. You need at least 100 proof to get a real feel of what you are drinking.

Jim Beam Black is also quite good.
