The one guy in that regime willing to speak the real truth, Shepard Smith. Not the first time he has been willing to go off the reservation and tell what is really going on. Much respect.

Here he commenting on Newt's "I'm getting of the Presidential candidate bus while speechifying why I'm still so great".

Frequenters of P&N already know what Newt has said about Mitt. Here's is an honest assesment by Shep.

Haters gonna hate. Sheppard Smith is alright. He's a human with his own opinions but he's good about delivery.

To a liberal, honesty only exists when you agree with them. Disagree and you are a liar.

Fox news is not as bad a MSNBC in my opinion, but they are just different sides of the same coin. Either side can find plenty of news all day long to make the other side look bad while blatently ignoring stuff that makes their own side look bad.

Me and the Homer don't agree about anything, but at least he's got the balls to say there's a Fox news guy he kinda likes. Hat's off to you HomerJS

Truth, I'm not a Shep hater. The dude just reads what's in front of him 99% of the time, the other 1% of the time he delivers gems.

I actually do like that comment by Shepard Smith.

But I fully disagree with HomerJS that he went "off the reservation" to say it.

It is a good comment showing the disconnect between politicians and regular people.

He was the first Fox News correspondent to bring attention to a bill in Congress to provide funds for medical care for 9/11 first responders, that was being held up.

Ironically the bill would be funded funding by closing a tax loophole that foreign companies could take advantage of...

He deserves credit for that.

A fair point. However, I get the impression HomerJS watches more FOX than just about anyone here. Also, ever notice how it is a lefty that usually reports what Rush or Hannity had to say last night? Very rarely do I see someone who identifies as being conservative use anything from FOX, other than a web news link that came up in google news.

Maybe some people can't take their eyes and ears off of what they hate, got to keep looking for that gotcha moment.

Really? The jocks at your HS must have sucked then, unless SS has been working out. :p Or is it his delivery? After reading through this thread, I will have to watch his show tonight, can't remember the last time I did.

Hmmm, but everything on FOX is a lie, so therefore SS must be lying too.

True. Plus, as one of only a handful of on-air liberals at Fox News he has more value than their average bear, as he is rare.

Personally I love him for driving over the idiot woman "saving" a parking space for her network and for reporting that the people from J-Lo's old neighborhood had banded together to give her a blow job. He MEANT to say block party . . .

Well, count me in as thinking Shepard is the only anchor on Fox that doesn't cause me to flip the channel in less than 5 minutes. He's the only true journalist on Fox.

A fair point. Conservatives are much better qualified to comment on particular Fox News personalities, since they absorb all their reality from it like an infant sucking from its mother's teet. So we'll give you that.

Bret Baier is alright too.

But AFAIK, those two host the only "news" shows on Fox. The rest are opinion.
