That doesn't eliminate the possibility of its being a joke, it just makes them the subject of it, rather than the perpetrator of it.

BTW, the secuROM 2 activation limit has the players that bought the PC version in full riot mode. I've decided to buy the 360 version for certain now. Even the STEAM method isn't to my liking, since reselling games I am done with, is a good way to recoup part of my investment.

I bought the PC version after playing the demo. I love this game, it's my new fav game of the month. I have no issues with the copy protection. In fact I am all for it. This way great PC games will continue to come out. The 20 buck price difference and the fact that I can use my KB and trackball and the fact that my system is superior to my 360 easily swayed me to get the PC version.

Yeah, nice rig. My 939 X2@2.6ghz-2gb 3200DDR, 7900GS, 17" 12x10 LCD-Cans- screams go 360+57" HDTV for the best experience. Also, unless you got it for $30, it didn't have to be a $20 price difference.

While the animation seemed stiff and you could tell the 360 was being pushed too hard...

I also wonder how much better the graphics would?ve been had they not been compressed to fit on a DVD.

Now I do not fault the developers for this, they only had so much system power to work with so maybe this will all be addressed with the PS3 version when it comes out.

yeah...If I had a system like Oyeve, I'd probably buy it for the PC and attach my PC to the big screen...but I don't have $1500 to sink to upgrade my machine to those standards...so I'll stick with 360 versions of games from this point going forward.

Isnt it 60 bucks for the 360? I got the PC version at Best Lie for 40, have 2 5 buck RZ coupons. I would have payed 60 for the 360 version if it supported a KB and Mouse, but it doesnt.

second, you can uninstall and reinstall this game, and if, by chance, you have 2 computers you want to simultaneously play this game on, you also can do that.

if by some chance you are reinstalling this game without uninstalling it first, a lot, there is a chance you may have to call securom and get a key, or deactivate some older installations.

but if you upgrade your hardware next week, you'll still be able to play the game. if you revamp your system and need to reinstall bioshock, just uninstall it before you go through the overhaul, and then do your reinstall.

calling it "hardware fingerprinting" is a bit alarmist. we do not transmit any of your data to any companies.

really, the only people who will be concerned about any of these security measures are those who are rapidly putting bioshock on many pcs... if you use the game as you normally do, you won't notice this at all.

Actually it has many well informed owners up in arms too. I bought it for PC and had no problems, but now I'm worried I'll have problems activating it years from now. Also, some people have reported not getting their "install" credit back after uninstalling. Don't get me wrong I never pirate a game and keep it, but protection like this isn't stopping anyone, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually hurting their PC sales and increasing pirating of the game.

The Sony Family showed very strong July sales with a total of 595,000 pieces of hardware sold. In comparison only 170,000 Xbox 360s were sold and the Sony platform even managed to outsell the much hyped Nintendo Wii which only reached a total of 425,000 sold. Looks like the gaming world still belongs to Sony.
