The Onion: "Black man given nation's worst job".

WASHINGTON?African-American man Barack Obama, 47, was given the least-desirable job in the entire country Tuesday when he was elected president of the United States of America. In his new high-stress, low-reward position, Obama will be charged with such tasks as completely overhauling the nation's broken-down economy, repairing the crumbling infrastructure, and generally having to please more than 300 million Americans and cater to their every whim on a daily basis. As part of his duties, the black man will have to spend four to eight years cleaning up the messes other people left behind. The job comes with such intense scrutiny and so certain a guarantee of failure that only one other person even bothered applying for it. Said scholar and activist Mark L. Denton, "It just goes to show you that, in this country, a black man still can't catch a break."
Obligatory, "That's racist!"

Just another case of the man keeping a brother down.

Wait...the brother is now the man. I think we've hit some sort of paradox...

he's a half brother though, so he's still got the white devil in him.

so he's keeping himself down?

Crap, I keep telling my son not get upset and keep trying and practicing to get better. I never considered that there was a genetic possibility that he'd keep himself down.

So I guess nobody can ever again claim "The man is keeping brothers down" right?

This is GOLD!!!!! Echoes my sentiment exactly, but in a very profound sarcastic way....

"the man" would be any person in a position is power over another, Police Officers are "the man" so I believe oppression will stay roughly the same, unless Obama has some magical plan to get rid of all the people in power who like to hold minorities down and racially profile them.

basically nothing will change in America.

That line was pure gold.

Too bad it was false. There were a lot more than 2 choices on my ballot.
