stupid sports like soccer need stupid rules like offsides to make the game playable. its stupid

hockey has an offsides rule and is easily one of the more enjoyable, fast-paced sports imo.

i think the soccer field needs to be smaller and have the number of active players cut, allow subs more like basketball or hockey on a regular basis...keep energetic players on a field that they can cross alone or without a huge amount of help to try and set up offensive plays and it would really speed up the game.

im find with keeping the offsides, i dont think it would make gameplay that interesting, but would just up the score from 1v1s against a goalie which isnt the interesting aspect of the game to me

In the different leagues that I have played soccer in, there is no offside.

No idea which league actually disallows players from playing offside.

Do you see "camping" in your games as I described in the OP?

all depends on the situation.

sometimes yes, sometimes no.

if there is "camping" involved, your Defense just need to be up to snuff to deal with the cherry pickers (or campers as you call them).

all part of the game.
