If I didn't have one and wanted one, I would jump on that deal. Sell or trade the games and it would be well worth it.

I pre-ordered the sunset overdrive bundle myself. I want the white one. Looking at some high resolution pictures, it is very nice. I have a friend going to give me $300 for my current system the week sunset overdrive comes out, I already put $100 down on it so it is basically paid for minus tax.

Also getting the white ps4 as well. For some reason I really like the white consoles this time around. They just stand out as being very cool to me. I never did like white electronics but these catch my attention.

Yeah, that's the way I feel. Played it on 360 but would like to do it again.

But $20 is too rich for my blood. Think it will be in that range in another month or two or probably free on GWG by Christmas.

there are many games that "may" end up on there, and if you wait a few years to play a game you can get it for dirt cheap too. doesn't really matter for the present time though.
 
Should I try to get a warranty repair done on my XB1? I'm having a lot of issues with audio and video glitches with Forza 5. Mainly, 1 sec pauses of the game, smaller skips and then the audio isn't in sync at times or just crackles and pops. Complete reboots seem to fix the issue, but it requires me pulling the cord way too often.
 
That seems common where stuff doesnt work right until you do a full shutdown. I have had TV issues, games that don't load, and various other problems.

Yep, this latest software version sucks. I have had the same issues.

I turned off "resume games quickly" and that seemed to make it better for games.

The worst is Netflix. It seems like I always have to do a hard reset to get it to work correctly with this build.
 
The worst issue I have had was my kinect not working and the system posting up the notification that "your kinect is ready to setup" then it would do it again regardless of what option I picked.

After a full shutdown all is well. Annoying to say the least.
 
Glad I still haven't bought in yet then... It is getting close though. I think once Halo comes out I will have to buy... Halo 2 online again??? Sign me up!

I don't think it will be that long. I think it's a prime candidate for GwG.

But I still think it will be $25 shipped or less from Amazon by November. It's already hitting the $35 mark occasionally.

I've not had any issues since buying mine a couple weeks ago. And it's on 24/7.

I would say go ahead and buy now. Use the Best Buy movers coupon to get $50 off the kinect version. You get Forza 5 with it. Titanfall is pretty cheap now is too and makes a good purchase.

The Kinect cable is pretty long. I'm guessing only a very small group of people would need an extension....too small to make an accessory cable economical I imagine.

I need one. I have a PJ so my AV equipment is behind me. I can't put Kinect in front. I was able to use a USB extender on the 360 on the original kinect because it came with a power supply. Haven't looked to see if it was compatible with the One yet.

there is a lot more than 2 people who want an extender. and the thing is they could put a premium on it too because the people who want it are typically people who have theaters which were a lot of money anyways, so spending $50 or $100 on a cable wouldn't be much in the grand scheme of things.

I get the message a couple of times a day now. And I've noticed that the Kinect appears to power off and on right before the message. Annoying!

My bet would be that TR will hit GwG a month or two before Rise releases next year.

I disagree. I think they're more likely to pick games where giving them away can lead to DLC sales. Ryse is probably the top example. They could also consider giving away FM5 once FH2 takes over the racing sales, and they could give away Ghosts shortly after the Advanced Warfare launch. They also have a year's worth of old sports game to hand out, and several more indie titles.
