I'm waiting for tuesday, really want to try plants vs zombies, then two weeks later I gotta get titanfall too. Im interested if they are going to turn titanfall into COD and shove dlc at us every 3 months with new map packs or not
That's the only reason I buy discs anymore, for resell. And then, it totally depends on the game. Ryse and Tomb Raider got their 6 and 12 hours of play, and then they're sold. Games such as Madden and Titanfall will be close to worthless by the time I am ready to sell them. And those couple bucks aren't worth the tradeoff of losing the benefits of download. The advantage to discs is selling them. Right now I have a bunch of ps3 games I don't need but unfortunately they are not worth much at gamestop and they take up room in my book case.
I really want to try it too. I'll probably check out the reviews before I buy, but it looks very interesting to me.I'm waiting for tuesday, really want to try plants vs zombies
I'm sure there will be paid DLC... They're a business, and DLC's make money. And frankly, that doesn't bother me. Games have been stagnant at $60 for close to a decade now, ignoring inflation, despite increased development costs. I'd prefer the model stay at that price and then charge for DLC, than just raise the initial price.Im interested if they are going to turn titanfall into COD and shove dlc at us every 3 months with new map packs or not
Heck yeah, I love both PvZ's. My favorite mobile games, by far.I already paid for my plants vs zombies. I play the game on my note 2 whenever I have time to kill. Ive got high hopes for that game.
I absolutely loved the Titanfall beta, I was actually quite sad when I couldn't log in the other night. I haven't had that much fun with a FPS since Halo 2.Im probably going to sell ghosts this week and pay for titanfall before it comes out. I played the beta and loved it

don't really get an article that thinks a remote could be a savior device, still doesn't solve the issue of the console still requiring that you hook up a separate set top box to access your cable tv portion.
That website is like The Onion.
See, DLC isn't too terrible to me, in some instances. When it's maps, I don't care too much. I won't buy it, since $3/map is a TERRIBLE deal, but I don't mind its existence (beyond how they put the DLC Achievements on your profile whether you get the DLC or not). When they sell the gun skins and such in Black Ops II, I don't care. I again won't spend $2 on a skin, but its existence doesn't bother me. It's when your DLC adds legitimate content to the gameplay that I start to get bothered. If they offer Titans via paid DLC, and they're meaningfully superior to the base ones, you then get into the "pay to win" model, and I start to write the developer/publisher off.
But this is EA we're talking about. I wrote them off forever ago.

The only time I buy map packs are with the treyarch cod games because I want to play the other zombie maps.
The problem with map pack DLC can be seen in BF4, it fragments the user base and you are forced to buy them in order to keep finding decent games.
Bops 2 zombie maps were really good. Especially Buried. My fav is still moon thogh. Its sad that Treyarch isn't making the next cod. Gonna have to wai another year for more zombie goodness.
I would imagine that's by design.
Link to the info about the next cod if you could please. If there is no zombies I'm buying a ps3 tomorrow afterwork and getting black ops 2 and recovering my account

Microsoft has announced that a Titanfall Xbox One bundle is available to pre-order from today.
"We’re delighted to be able to include Titanfall at no additional cost for Xbox One buyers"
Inside the specially-themed Titanfall packaging is a standard Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard Xbox One wireless controller, Xbox One Chat Headset, one month of Xbox Live Gold and a digital copy of Titanfall. All for the price of a standard Xbox One console.
The offer will be available worldwide, though in the UK the offer coincides with a price cut of the console to £399.99.
The Verdict
Thief has some strong stealth mechanics going for it, and getting away unseen with a big haul of loot can be an enormous challenge, but doesn’t always put that to good use. Between the hit-or-miss missions is an extremely annoying city hub map and a weak story full of bland characters, and Garrett himself isn’t as sure-footed as a master thief ought to be. Ignoring the story and cherrypicking the best side missions is the best way to approach it.
6.8 Okay
Thief has good stealth going for it, but everything connecting its few relatively open scenarios is a mess.
+Challenging stealth
+Swoop ability
+Some good scenarios
– Frequent load screens
– Hit-or-miss level design
