Yeah, it's been two months. I never said that I thought they were withholding content, just that I didn't like that they cut the content so severely. Given the way Achievements worked on the Xbox 360, it would annoy me if I got the game, then had them release a Nurburgring (or general track) DLC, and had it auto-tagged to the profiles of ALL Forza 5 players. Regardless of whether or not they withheld content, I'd feel slighted if they brought content back as DLC, for whatever reason. I'd rather see the game delayed 6 months than release as an inferior product to its predecessor, in terms of content quantity (and it wouldn't make sense to call Forza 5 better-quality than Forza 4, and just leave that as the only defense)/
The whole problem is that I don't like that SO MUCH content was taken away. I mean, 60% of the cars and about 50% of the tracks? No improvement in visuals is going to make up for that, in my opinion. It's like how BF4 released with a 4-hour campaign, and Ghosts came with a slightly-longer one (rated as about 4.5 hours). However, the Forza scenario is worse, seeing as the campaign isn't the meat and potatoes of the BF and CoD titles, while the cars and tracks ARE where you get the vast majority of replay value with Forza.
As a whole, it just seemed like the Xbox One exclusives were all rushed. Dead Rising 3 probably got hit the hardest for this (and rightfully so), but Forza's content and graphical cuts (post-E3) were pretty bad as well, in my opinion. I don't question the quality of the gameplay, I'm sure it's as good as ever, I just don't think that it's improved enough to where I'd feel like I got a reasonable deal for $60, when the quantity fell off so greatly.
I'd probably consider picking it up for $25-30 used, but $60 seems like a rip-off to me.
