Projector gaming is harder to do. I have 3 projectors and I almost never play on them. Plus my projector are not 1080p, theyre 1024x768, so kinda not worth it.. but 90" projector screen is pretty good.. would be better if it was 1080p

so I agree, I doubt lots of gamer are flocking to it at all..

Why is it harder?

I don't expect a tonne of people to do it (I really only know one other person who games/plays on a projector), but I don't understand how it's harder to do. Are you talking about the initial setup? That is slightly more difficult than just plugging in a TV of course, but once you have it going it's no different as far as I can tell.

Definitely agree it's a tiny segment though and I expect it to remain that way for quite a while.

Depending on my work schedule I may be able to line up at 3 PM and wait also - thanks for the information! I don't know why the X1 wouldn't have a bigger following as IMO 360 killed everyone last generation?

Cause the ps4 is cheaper and when i was waiting in line almost nobody said they wanted an xb1. Because they dont watch TV and dont want kinect and one guy talked about the e3 fiasco and all that. Honestly there just doesn't seem to be the same hype. It will still likely sell out anyway. People are fickle sometimes.

As for the projector argument I find that a good plasma or led is a better picture in most environments. You almost have to build the room around a projector setup to get the best performance out of it. I would do it if I could juat for the size alone but I do not have the space or the proper room to make it work. After playing killzone on my sister's 70" Sharp Elite over the weekend at her house, I dont think I could go to a projector setup personally.

That's crazy that people at a ps4 launch didn't want a Xbox. Who could have seen that coming?

They are gamers spending upwards of $900 on a console plus games and accessories at launch and they dont want the other console. It isn't the same as going to the playstation section of a fanboy flooded forum amd asking them. These are regular people and many of them own a 360 cause they told me that. I was waiting for around 45 min so I got to talking to people.

IGN has an article up about how the X1 won't have Twitch streaming at launch. Not really much of a negative if that means we get far less random game streams. :p

I dunno I like the idea of streaming a game to a friend so he can see the gameplay. The quality isn't that great but it gives them an idea or I can show them a trick.

j/k, canuck ;)

He's in the UK, he will never use correct English! >_<

I hope I can find one Friday though. Sure, I'll have to pay an extra $50 (damn you sales tax!!), but whatever. I will still have Forza delivered that day.

I was mostly just joking about people randomly streaming their content like I was with Resogun this past weekend. :p Typically, people had to go out of their way to stream using their PC or separate capture devices like El Gato. (Not sure why you'd name your device "The Cat"....)

Worse... Canadian! D:

His location says London Fields, which is in East London. Unless there is another in Canada or he is a liar! I suppose he could be a Canadian living in London, which is just as bad! =3

I am really hoping I can find an Xbox One Friday, because I have the day off and am looking forward to playing Forza!

Probably because what people did last generation has very little to do with what they do this generation. You seem to have a propensity for thinking "if I do it then lots of people do it." You've taken that approach with respect to the Kinect, projectors, and now the Xbone itself.

Not to further derail, but London Fields is the name of the novel with the lead character named Keith Talent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Fields_(novel)

I am, in fact, Canadian. Just a huge fan of that author and novel.

i gotta say i'm pretty disappointed that the twitch stuff isn't going to work at launch. it's nice how easy it is to use on the ps4, and i was hoping it would be the same on x1 and i really wanted to watch some killer instinct streams as well. as much as they hyped it up i can't believe it isn't ready.

i didn't even realize sony was doing that until i pressed the share button on the ps4 controller, but i remember ms hyping the feature up.

Well, I can assure you the people doing KI that you actually want to watch already have a capture device and an HDCP stripper to have a proper set up. >_>

I know Spooky will have some streams and I'm sure FGCTV will as well. I can only imagine jwong and others that stream sometimes will.

well considering there are no lobbies at launch, it woulda been cool to just find good people and follow em to see if they stream. the sp00ky stuff will be tourneys, but i also like watching people just playing online as well.
