I do believe KI and NBA2K14 are my definite day one purchases. I'll probably get a third but I have no idea which it will be yet. I am certain NBA2K14 will drop to at most $40 within 2 months but I don't want to wait that long to play it.
 
Well, after Sony's surprising policy reversal, I've decided to stick with the Xbox One pre-order and cancel the Sony (I generally don't want to be bothered with a resale for $75). I've certainly been critical of it, but everything coming out so far seems to be very positive. I'm going to bro out and get COD: Ghosts. If you're playing COD on xbone, you're only able to play against other people on xbone, correct?

What policy reversal are you talking about? You can still resell your games. That's a general eu policy that even the ps3 had so that they get covered. Nothing Changed.

Reselling games, some mention about monitoring PS usage, etc. Less interesting launch lineup. Less interesting features. I don't really care if I'm "correct" about it, just wasn't feeling the PS4 as we got closer to launch.

it is funny because if this was an MS policy that came out, the internet would be in an uproar about it.

That's normal. I'm glad now I'll be able to charge my ps4 controller without powering on the console. Amazon is offering 5 bucks in psn credit if you order digital game downloads from them. Even Xbox should do this too as it gives people more options. Honestly neither console has a good lineup for my personal taste but I would rather try killzone.

Dude are you really this far behind the times? This is to protect them from lawsuit is someone finds a video with themselves in an online game on psn because of the video share feature. They already gave you permission to trade and sell used games. This is a policy for Europe written by lawyers to save themselves from any lawsuits. This policy is the same on ps3 and look at all the used games.

Further you just admitted to being a fanboy by saying "I dont care if I am correct about it". The 360 and Xbox one have similar tos statements. It is pretty standard language. I have my doubt's as to whether you were even going to get a ps4 at all lol.

Yes, if it is anything like every other game.

I canceled my preorder Friday as well. I am sticking with a launch Xbox One and going to pick up a PS4 probably after the holiday rush (and if no decent games are coming out, probably after the first price drop).

I am hoping I can upgrade my Madden to the 25th Anniversary edition (as that is the one I purchased for 360) and not the regular edition. Between that, Forza, Fifa, and KI, I should be content for awhile with my console needs.

I have been on many forums and been flamed many times, but your response to me was so comical that I just had to ask. You doubt I ever wanted a PS4? what in the hell? Who cares if I did or didn't? I'm sure its a fine device, it was simply less interesting to me than the Xbox One currently. As is the notion of spending $450 bucks from Amazon for something I might not even play. I'd rather let someone else have the console.

Ultimately your stated reason for not picking up a PS4 was not true, then you just said you don't care anyway. You basically look like a troll.

I personally don't care what system you get, but this does make you come off a certain way. Not that you should care about that, either.
 
Embargo lifted for cross platform reviews on Xbox One. It appears the choice to go with 720p on Xbox was a good choice, it maintains 60fps consistently where as PS4 dips down. None of the reviews could see enough of a difference to determine which was which.

It also appears Dead Rising has some frame rate issue. That doesn't surprise me considering just how many zombies they are allowing in frame at one point. Oh well, I'm sure the game will still be fun.

Well, this is the thing. I'm just here making conversation and you're going all internet defense force on me. It's cray. This is the Xbox thread. And no matter what thread this is, no one said the PS4 was bad. I just said their policy rubbed me the wrong way (heck, they did have to tweet to defend it, and I've done enough corporate work to see a backpedal when I see one) and that the launch lineup was less interesting to me. Which it is. Are these issues "correct?" They seem subjective to me, and that was my entire point.

That's not what I said at all; you're simply accepting someone else's interpretation of what I said. But since what appeared to be a chill xbox thread has now turned into a trial, I'll gracefully bow out.

it still has the wire into the controller. i want a wireless one though. i had it for 360 and it was great.

Perhaps I misunderstood you, but I didn't accept someone else's interpretation. "it" may have been too vague.

Either way, it is a pointless argument anyway.

The first gen wireless headsets were terrible. They had sync problems and would static out on people a lot. The real problem was you couldn't hear it if your mic was doing it, just the other people.

I do think they will have a wireless one eventually available, if not at launch.

Don't let people chase you out of the thread, especially if you are a Xbox fan that is excited about the console. This thread could use more people like that.
