The official thread for people who do not like LOTR.

I won't see it until it comes out on DVD, my neighbor buys it and I borrow it. If I like it I'll cop...........er, go out and buy a copy for myself.
 
I didn't like the 1st one, I have yet to see the second, but it looks like an improvement over the first. I also think that Gangs of New York was way overhyped. *chows down on some popcorn*
 
I just have a hard time with this type of movies and it is way to long. 2 hours max. It's not a good sign when I sleep for a good 20 mins during the show.
 
I thought the book was ok and the little cartoon was pretty cool. The movie just didn't do anything for me. Meh. I'll skip on the 2nd until it hits rental. I love that sort of fantasy setting too 🙁
 
I feel asleep a couple of times during it.. that kind of stuff really doesn't inerest me... I thought the costumes and scenes etc.. were good.. but I just don't dig the story
 
The movies are way too unrealistic for me, it's something my kids like, and actually, they are movies for children...

No more realistic and no more action than disneys old movies...
 
been waiting for a chance to bash that movie...and the book was the worst thing I have every read in my life.
