<< OMG!!! I think i am in love, did you see the Volcan babe rubbing gel all over herself!!!! >>

BACK OFF, i saw her first! :|

Ok now the opinion youve been waiting for:

I like it. Alot. It is thankfully very different from previous versions of the ST saga. It had a very 'real' feeling to it. It is a nice to enjoy this much suspense from an installment of ST.

I used to dump on every new series beginning, because I wanted it to be just like the last series. Of course now I realize that the show will be improved with future versions, including the inevitable major overall all ST series go through in the 2nd season. Im going to support the show from this episode forward, especially if this is the initial template.

Nice work, Paramount!

Did anyone catch the irony in the fact that computer-targeted phaser weapons couldn't hit any of the pods moving in a straight trajectory but a little grappling hook pops out of the bottom of the ship and can catch onto one just fine?

They were pretty primative phaser weapons. From what I can tell, this ship is going to need major adjustments to work right. And no shields? This show is going to be a lot of fun.

Yea, well... plot device... 🙂

I like to see them mixing it up a bit. Still the same ST, but different... Those were like pulse cannons more than phasers... But no matter...

Your point is totally valid...

<< Hehe, they finally put a really hot chick on ST. droooooooool.... >>

Yea, she is better than Seven of Nine!!! 🙂

We have cruise missiles today that have enough guidance to take out a target 500 miles away relatively accurately. I think 150 years from now, a weapon that is supposed to travel at the speed of light, can lock onto a target and fire with relative ease! Supposidly the military has a 2 mW laser mounted in a 747 that can target the head of an individual in a crowd 150mi away.

LOL, the miltary's laser-mounted-on-a-747 is NOT accurate. The missile shield defense is a long long long long way from working.
