I have a suspect. Of course the first instinct is Gobadgrs, but it isn't he. I have a new suspect. But I can't say who until I successfully trace the suspect's history. :p

Well yes, a MOD could easily and very quickly find the person given the two IP's floating around. But that kind of ruins the hunt a bit now doesn't it?

RossMAN?

I dunno ... from what I've read in another thread, RossMAN would've registred the domain through NameCheap.com, and not Enom.com.

Snicker. Good point!

Ya know... if you look at all the info, this so-called "webmaster" has given away a lot of information. Something about it feels strangely familiar, too. Maybe I'm just getting a funny feeling from the bacon this morning, but I feel ... familiar with something. Maybe it's the ATTBI link. Maybe it's that I got lots of sleep last night and now feel groggy or something. Who knows.

Who would you guess it to be then, if it's feeling familiar?

The hard part will be proving who it is and getting them to admit to it.

Without something like comparing the IPs of the Webmaster guestbook entry and Webmaster e-mail, with the IPs here at ATOT, we don't really have concrete proof. Least not enough to rip the mask off the villain to have him go "you nosy kids!" or something else from Scooby Doo.

Uhmm . . . there's one thing I can affirm: The Skoorbs surely know this person and gave out some of their information to this person.

This person is close to the Skoorbs. Hence, I suspect that at least one of the Skoorbs do know who it is, perhaps Matt, but want us to unravel the mystery. Unless this person is a Brit or Canadian or well-rounded, all of the descriptions given in the bio would have been obtained from the Skoorbs. But if the Skoorbs aren't the ones who wrote the information and they've never given such detailed information about their lives in public here, I have reason to believe that this person is a very close person. So, I've got to track who's that close to the Skoorbs and possibly Canadian. It may be Matt himself and his wife isn't aware of this, but I haven't yet seen the sign. I need more proof.

Now who's stalking the skoorbs? :p

Okay, MrsSkoorb gotta post! It took me forever to read this!

Webmaster contacted me a few days ago with his idea and wanted to make sure it was okay with me and that I would approve the site before he launched it...approve in the sense that Skoorb wouldn't be upset that is. Webmaster, as he calls himself, wanted to make sure that Skoorb would be okay with the whole idea and not freaked out. I assured him that Skoorb is an easy going guy and it would be great fun and asked for a hint towards his identity. yeah, well, the hint I got was useless. Of course I have talked to him on AT in the last 6 months!

Anyhow, I love the idea and Skoorb and I think the site is great, especially with the information Webmaster managed to get...that's kinda scary but neat and fun nonetheless. He is a tricky little guy with apparently great resources!

So, no one needs to go calling and ask them to remove it. It is all in good fun. :)

PS. It was NOT me. :p
It was Gobadgrs wasn't it?

I don't think so. The style does NOT match.

Thats what I said in an earlier post. I wish I came up with this idea but I didn't. If I had, the entire site would have been in Java and Flash not some frontpage garbage.

WTF is wrong with flash!? I've seen some seriously kickass sites done in flash. Why don't you like it?

Because 9 out of 10 sites that use it suck horribly. The amount of ads out there that use annoying flash is unbearable.

But oh well, I setup Mozilla to not have the flash plugin, so I don't have to worry about it. If a site looks like its good, I switch over to IE and go directly to it.

I have a suspect at the surface. He was the last person on my mind, but now it's seeming like it might be he: Grasshopper26.

Was that you Grasshopper? I noticed a repeated pattern, which you seem to share with this person. Uhmmm. . . . Was it you? Of course this is in good spirit.

What I couldn't understand is the 6 months claim, though. Time for confession, Grasshopper26 if it was you. :Q
