Webmaster contacted me a few days ago with his idea and wanted to make sure it was okay with me and that I would approve the site before he launched it...approve in the sense that Skoorb wouldn't be upset that is. So, no one needs to go calling and ask them to remove it. It is all in good fun.

is the mystery solved yet? Yes I do read, but so far I haven't seen anything leading to even a *hint* of who it is. PAB update the thread title or something when we find out.

I am almost 100% it is not Gobadgrs. He is over in Europe. All evidence here points to the "webaster" being in Washington State.

From home (work firewall blocks pings/tracert) I stopped getting name resolutions in Seattle, 3 hops away from where it died. It died at the IP in the e-mail headers. Which was different than the IP in the guestbook, but not by much.

Wow! You guys scare me how so quick everyone gathers and is set to burn the accused. LOL! It's scary . . . mob mentality here. I think Mrs Skoorb or Skoorb should have been approached first to find out if they were aware of the site and approved of it. Now the guy has the site down, yet Mrs Skoorb said she had no problem with it.
Whoever had the site, keep it going for as long as the Skoorbs approve of it. I would like to see just what it looks like.
If the contents had been left open, I may be able to tell by writing style and other clues who it was. But now it's all gone.

No, I don't mean by the webmaster, as I read that the webmaster already approached you. I meant by those who started the personal information complaint. But all is in fun I was told, so it's all good.
I've also been linked to the direct page, so I'm getting all excited about solving a mystery. /Me loves mysteries and loves to solve them. I hope this one comes out easy, as AT's a pretty big forum.

Could be a lurker. Someone who reads ATOT but has not registered / doesn't participate.

It is quite funny. Well it was. We had an anonymous person, who sort of got the Mrs permission to post things, having some fun with Skoorb. Unfortunately, it looks like the website got found a bit too early, least for the "webmasters" liking. And as some of us are a bit nosy and have some decent computer detective skills (know where to look for obvious things, not exactly hackers) we started finding out some info. Then "webmaster" got all defensive and thats where it took a turn for the worse.
Maybe the webmaster will still go thru with the full site. Just work hidden behind that redirect page. I'd say go for it, but at least make your presence known to the Mrs or Skoorb so they know exactly what info you are going to be putting up. Personally, I wouldn't like to have quite that personal info posted about me by some stranger online.

I dunno ... from what I've read in another thread, RossMAN would've registred the domain through NameCheap.com, and not Enom.com.
Hey, for those that have the IP address, can't you just compare it to the IP's of AT members? I am sure one of you is a mod with access....
