Yes, but he didn't delete the original guest book. I was still able to refer to it from a history page.

So I now have the IP again.

EDIT: I'll hold onto the IP for a bit. See if anything interesting happens.

I got completely different hosts on my tracert. All of them were ATTBI routers up to a few hops away from the destination where it went all numeric.

I don't know if the guestbook posts the intermediate hops, but that particular info is available to anybody with a standard trace. Nothing secret about those, IMHO.
But I'll prolly take the info out as a matter of professional courtesy.
