Anyone else's PS4 get a little bit warm after a few hours of use? Like I know it's supposed to get warm but mine's to the point where it's bordering warm and hot.

I have it set on top of a DVD player and around 3 inches of space around the PS4 before it hits an object.

Honestly, I have never checked. Always kept my PS3 and Xbox 360 out in open shelf next to the center channel speaker. I now have the PS4 standing vertical next to the TV so I just have not been concerned.

I'm wondering if I should get a vertical stand too but it costs extra plus my Ps4 is sitting moderately high on my shelf, too lazy to reorganize 😛

Is anyone getting last of us for ps4 next week? I wonder If I should wait they may have some type of upgrade deal. I still have my ps3 copy.

Gamestop gives you a 50% discount if you trade in the PS3 version. Basically they give you $25 for the PS3 game if you put it toward the PS4 release.

Not the best deal, but $25 for the definitive release and the DLC isn't bad.

Oh really? Lots of times I've seen a game stop deal online or somewhere and when I go to my store they act like they haven't heard of it and tell me it's not available. I'll have to check for sure. Would like to trade it in for the ps4 edition since its been so long that I've played it.

I've been mulling getting the PS4/TLoU bundle.

It's a great game with a really nice story. If you are not too into mlb the show or infamous then I would say if you were wanting to get a ps4 and never played the game before, go for it.

I myself would not get a system just for one game but there will be plenty of games hopefully soon.

I never played the dlc and I am glad I buy disc games and hold on to them lol. For $25 it's a deal especially since I finished it a really long time ago and probably could have gone through it using different weapons or upgrades.

Definitely getting The Last of Us on PS4. Should be good for 2 playthroughs by year end and I'm kind of excited about checking out the in-game cinematics commentary from director and cast. Also, haven't played the single player DLC so I'm looking forward to that. And, lastly, I'll get the MP bug for a few weeks and get 10-20 hours there.

Last of Us is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. Game play is fine, nothing revolutionary, it's fun though but the story is what makes the game so good. It's better than most movies and you actually care about the people. Naughty Dog knows how to make you care about the characters in its games. That's why they are automatic buys for me.

3D Blu-ray support comes to the PS4 next week. It's kind of interesting timing since it also comes to the XBOX One in the August update (i.e. the next update).

I can't imagine too many people have been waiting for 3D bluray support. I'm sure these people exist but, most people don't own 3D tv's. Those who do own then don't always like the 3D mode. And most people who are buying a ps4 and own a 3D TV probably already have a ps3 or some other 3d bluray player.

To me it's more an issue of the PS4 still lacking some of the features of its predecessor. There's probably a few people who would like an all-in-one devices instead of multiple consoles.

It's still missing audio and video support, DLNA, and suspend/resume. I expect those features will be added in a 2.0 update before year's end. The latter anyway since that was a big one touted at E3 last year.

Anyway, I finished Second Son. Enjoyed it but it's not as good or challenging as the previous two games. Graphics are really amazing though for a console title. Just wish it had more to do outside of the main story.

Yea every few weeks these stability updates come out. I have not had any stability issues even before these updates. I hope the missing features come soon. Looks like they may be showing up one by one.

I dunno...I buy a game console cause it is a game console. I have a blu-ray player etc. This isn't like the ps3 where it was the best and cheapest blu-ray player for a period of time. None of the features people say it needs fills an actual need to me. Between a smart TV, PC, 3D blu-ray player, phone that can cast to my TV, and network receiver...I am covered.

I guess if you don't have anything to offer that functionality you look at it differently.

My console sometimes looses sound after a resume. I have to shut it down and start up again... Also, my avatar turns into a crossed circle (like "not available"), was using my Facebook photo and suddenly it wouldn't show up (I didn't change anything).

Googling for both issues, a lot of people have had both of them since day 1, pretty much 🙁 Not fixed yet...
