I don't see a thread dedicated to Infamous, so I'll just ask it here:

I know there's going to be an Infamous system bundle at some point. What I can't find is any details about it. They haven't "officially" announced it yet, so I don't know price or if the bundle will be available the same day the game is released. I plan on getting a PS4 for Infamous, and I don't mind waiting a month if I'm going to be able to get the bundle on release day for a discount (I've seen some speculation that you'd save $15 or so with the bundle). BUT if it's not available at game launch, then I might as well buy a PS4 now and the game at release.

It bothers me that we're a month away from release and there's no details about this bundle.

This is all I found. It would probably regular price, $399 plus the cost of the game.

I'm going to pre order the game at best buy since they give you 10 bucks to do so.
 
Yea you get the 10 dollars for your reward zone member for next time. So you can use it on another game when they compute it into your reward zone account.
 
I was on their website yesterday and saw something that said if you pre order. I think it may be for certain games only.

Yea I know I got the email last night and figured it would apply to new games. Not sure why they are not including infamous in the list. All the 2013 games are already out, and south park...really.
 
I recently got a PS4 Gold Wireless headset, and have been using it mostly on my PC recently.

It's worked out pretty well so far. It's pretty comfortable (the pillow material is soft, and it's not heavy), the sound is good (like most wireless headsets it's not heavy in bass, but there's a little there if you put the EQ to 2, and it has good sounding details), and it seems to be working with all my stuff so far.

The mic required a +1 dB boost on my PC, which is is actually a tad less than my last headset, resulting in a little less noise. It's not a drop down boom mic, but one built into the ear cup... which has it's pros and cons. I honestly like this, since I know it's unlikely that I'll damage the mic, compared to my previous gaming headsets, that didn't last well. I've had a lot of mics die on me... So, while it does have a little bit of a radio-y sound to it compared to a good boom mic, it's certainly good enough for me, and I'm less worried my mic will be quickly damaged through my regular gaming habits.

Anyway, I think I'm going to use them for movies as well as gaming, since the closed back monitoring headphones I use for music, have a bit of recessed mids, and it makes some of the dialogue not so good in movies and games.
 
So I just turned my ps4 on and there is a 1.61 update. Let's see...

Edit: More headset support and improved dvd quality and stability fixes. I'm watching someone play thief right now.

I'm not sure but I was logged out oddly enough when I turned on the console before the update. It may be because I was logged in on ps3 earlier.

I've never used stand by that much. But one thing I don't like is how long the console takes to shut down.
 
Am I the only one who finds Strider really hard? I kept dying trying to kill the double roof ninjas, which is not even all that far into the game. I guess I just need to figure out the pattern.

Aside from that I love the classic feel of the game; definitely feels like the same game I used to play, just updated a bit.

If I remember correctly, one of the cons on IGN's review was awkward difficulty spikes, so I'm not too surprised that you're having problems!

Ah ok, that's good to know. I thought I was just sucking. I'll give it another shot this weekend; I had to turn it off because I was getting too angry. 😀

Anyone else's ps4 loose sound after the update? I turned it on last night and saw a static bar across the bottom of my tv and when it booted up I had no audio what so ever. Had to turn it off then back on.

The tv is new I recently bought it so I wasn't sure what it could be. Seems to happen after the ps4 has been off for a while.

Tried it this morning and it didn't do the same thing.
