Anyone know of a place to get the PS4 camera for MSRP (or cheaper). My wife wants to play Just Dance, which seems to be the only game worth having the camera for.

I've tried the websites for Amazon, Target, Best Buy, and Wal-mart. None have stock.

The camera is currently harder to get than the console right now, which is saying a lot. Just check ebay prices, they are going for $100+

I put the movie in the PS4, and it started loading (swirly icon). Unfortunately, once it hit the 20th Century Home logo, it just froze up. I gave it a few minutes, but nothing seemed to happen. I tried to quit out, but it didn't seem to help. I ended up removing the disc, and telling the machine to power off. It took around a minute for the PS4 to turn off. :$ To make sure it just isn't a bad disc, I put it on my PC and played it using Arcsoft's Total Media Theater 6. The movie played without a hitch.

I had this problem with the PS3 on a few occasions. TMT5 played them fine.

Hope they don't abandon the camera like they did with the Move. It's again hardware that seems to have decent potential if they just run with it and make it useful.

How did they abandon the Move? There were at least three new Move games at retail this last X-mas. They also support the Move with the PS4. Can you say the same bout Kinect 1.0?

Realistically it's not going to get a ton of support since it's not bundled with the console.

It's possible that Microsoft could bail them out here. Since companies might be convinced to develop for motion by the bundling of the Kinect, they might just say "might as well do it for the PS4 while we're at it," meaning Microsoft's strategy benefits Sony, without having to make Sony annoy customers with the included camera's cost, like we've seen with the Kinect.

The difference is the move has become a bit of an afterthought in marketing. I can't remember the last time I saw an ad for a move game.

Why bother spending time developing for a peripheral when only a tiny percentage of PS4 owners have the camera? And you can never make a game that actually depends on the camera working compared to the Xbox One. Risk is high, reward is low.

Mine's been collecting dust too.. only cause I've only played Madden on the PS3 in the past few months. Never bothered to get the PS4 version.

yeah, jumped on the 'hype' band wagon... now i feel terrible about the purchase..., extra controller and nba2k14...

It's just all too boring for me to continue.. on a side note, been playing Max Payne 3 again... love this game...

I've honestly been playing nothing but nba2k14 and bf4 online. It's pretty fun but I can see how it gets repetitive.

I'll take it for 200

Loses half it's value when you drive it off the lot

Well, there is just nothing to play. I'm spending more time on my "two-month old" PS3, particularly with a few games I've gotten off PSN.

I knew I'd want a PS4 eventually and I knew it wouldn't price drop for a very long time, so I thought why not.

As far as the camera is concerned, I expect its lack of introduction in the pS4 will not only permanently damage its uptake but have an injurious effect on the XB1. In more ways than not they are brothers and a cross-platform title is going to focus less on possible camera functions if it's only going to be on one console.

If your choices are either a ps4 or a house, you may be looking at the wrong house.

Lol. We have major plans to do modifications to the house, so spending my time doing that.

We just did the inspection last night... minor repairs so we're buying it!

We just picked a house in good shape in an OK area. Nice cheap taxes and 7 miles from work.

Nice. I can understand the being busy part. Now that I am back in school my desire for a ps4 has gone down a bit. Plus I have been spending more time on my ps3. Actually playing it more than my xbox one at this point.
