Yeah the goalies are tough as crap. Getting scores on them is tricky. Even coming up the side and passing inward toward the center can be hard to do. The best way is to take shots from the sides. But I usually forget that you can control the curve of the ball as well as the power because so much is going on. When it's a bit cheaper I'm going to buy it because I don't play enough to justify spending 60 bucks on it.

Looks like I'm hating killzone I keep getting killed and surrounded by enemies. Is there any way to start this crap on easy? I mean in the middle of a mission.

Oh, sweet baby Jesus! I finally beat Febris on Veteran only to run into the hell that is Mefitis! It takes pretty much everything that you've seen before and injects it with the hellfire of Hades himself. Laser beams track you (and rotate), those seeking ships are faster, there are now rapid fire stationary cannons, there are converging ships that come from both sides, and if anything aforementioned turns yellow... it pretty much fires a million bullets a second!

I got to the boss, but I ended up dying at around 15%. 🙁

Oh, and I found that it only takes a 5% multiplier to free those hidden humans on Veteran -- or that's my guess as I got one when I was at 6%. So, that's not too bad.

If anyone wants, I can stream some Mefitis later to show you how truly hellish it is! 😱

Sweet thanks for the deal. It's 1 am here in east coast so I need to wait before I can pick up that one year card. I guess I just redeem it when my 30 day trial is up?
 
How do multiple PSN codes work? Can I just buy like 3 years and enter them all at once and not worry about it for a while?

You can redeem it as soon as you get it and it just adds it to your account time.

Yeah you can just add them all to your account and be set.
 
Cool that sounds good. I thought they did not allow you to stack it. I'll try it out tomorrow when I get it. Not going to stay up until 3am here lol.
 
Sweet! I was considering going out tomorrow to pick up the one from Gamestop, but I really don't like the idea of that. So, this is rather handy. I might pick up a year or two since I've only got a few months left on my current 12+3 month promotion. Also, that reminds me... you may want to wait to redeem the codes just in case Sony has another promotion like the aforementioned 12 months + 3 bonus months. During that promo, any 12 month card registered got an extra 3 months for free.
 
Anyone with AC4 notice some hiccups where the game will pause, seemingly freeze while the system is still responsive (can go to the PDM etc), but after waiting it out comes back up? Also I've noticed a couple glitches where after a cut scene you will be in the wrong spot and the objective will fail because you get killed. Early in the game when you are to steal a ship and escape the fleet, I was dropped in the middle of them surrounded by ships attacking me and I could not move. Steering had no effect and I couldn't sail forward. I had to wait until I was desynchronised and restart, but then I was moving and could actually escape like you're supposed to.

A few blemishes on an otherwise good game so far. The next thing Ubisoft needs to work on IMO is the character models. They aren't terrible, but they often have clipping issues and some awkward movement.

It says it starts Tomorrow at 12:01AM (i.e midnight tonight).


Does anyone know what wireless headsets work natively with the PS4 at the present time if any? I have a friend who has a PS4 but is totally against wired and I can't find any wireless options right now. I'm happy with using my Sennheiser PC360 with the smartphone adapter.

Ah figures oh well I'm not off tomorrow but I'm working from home so I'll try and pick one up during the day.

There are some headsets that don't work,the pulse one I think does not. I was watching a review by angry Joe on killzone and I think he had a wireless headset but I could not tell the model.

I don't suppose they have blutooth headsets, with the headphones and all because those should be able to be synced up. I can usually tell when someone is using a cheap blutooth earpiece because of all the static and noise.

Was gonna stop at Gamestop tonight for the card. Its within a block or so of where I live.

Though I'll try and get the PSN+ on Amazon through my phone too. 😉

I'm almost done with Contrast. There are some weird glitches where I get stuck on things, but I can just dash out of it, so no big whoop. I have not run into anything too bad.

I love these kinds of games though; having a lot of fun with it. I hope more games like this come out.

Yeah a few times I had to restart from the last save due to it glitching. I was about to download dc universe online but it's huge and never played that type of game. I'm also in chapter 5 in killzone. I think it's nine total chapters maybe ? Going to run out of games to play soon.

I'm lucky I guess, never ran into that issue.

I've been eyeing DC Universe. Let me know what you think if you do try it out.

Since DC Universe is free, anyone can try it out. I'm sure it suffers from other free to play games negatives where you'll be severely gimped without grinding tons of hours or paying up.
