I think what he means is that assuming they sold out completely across the country, then this number is limited by how many they were able to make. In that instance, it's basically saying how many Sony was able to ship, not how many they would have actually sold would they have had a PS4 available for every single person that wanted one.

No the graphics aren't as good as Killzone but they're still pretty darn good, especially if you've seen Battlefield on PS3 or Xbox 360, a huge difference.

It was crap on ps3. Really jaggied and visuals were looking pretty bad. I'll probably pick it up today and play multiplayer.
 
I think it looks great and the framerate has been good too. But that's only been on small TDM maps. Who knows how well it does in 64 player Conquest.
 
Been playing some PS1 games lately, shame I can see so many great franchises that would be awesome to see on PS4, like Jet Moto.
 
Having a hard time with bf4, seems to be a buggy mess, the campaign will crash often, mp i can only join domination servera, conquest will struggle to connect and when it does it kicks me out pretty fast

Yea I checked out EA's forums and it seems their servers are borked. I haven't been able to play one match of conquest but rush works fine.

Unfortunately aside from kids games, non real cars aren't popular anymore. Don't get me wrong, Jet Moto was damn fun but the industry has moved on, whether it's sim or arcade, everyone wants to race real cars now.
 
whoever thought it was a good idea to change the Aim and Fire buttons for BF4 with no option to move them back needs to be tortured and killed

Yeah and there was that BS going around that the 1.5 update made games unstable. Seems like someone at EA was making excuses and wasn't supposed to write that lol.

On the PC the same type of stuff happened except I never got a crash in campaign.

This is also the reason we keep getting boring CoD after CoD, BF after BF, etc. I guess as graphics get more realistic people don't want to pretend anymore and want to see real stuff get blown up real good. 😀
 
I know I've said some negative things which are still true, but I am warming up to the PS4.

The more I play AC4 the more I like it. I finally get to play a game as an ass kicking pirate! Naval warfare is awesome.

DS4 controller is amazing.

I think BF4 will be amazing when I can connect to a server.

Everything is so quick. I wouldn't play the PS3 much because it took like 5 minutes just to load into a game. Now I can be in a game from standby mode in 30 seconds. Although I am disappointed that the pause standby feature isn't working yet.

Resogun is pretty cool. I downloaded some of the other free games.

Still haven't opened up KZ.

Everything except for weapon fire is made from voxels, and when you kill an enemy, that's what you see. Although, I've found that the voxels flying around can be a bit distracting when you have tons of enemies firing at you, and everything just melds together. Oh, and to note, the leftover dust stuff is what charges your overdrive meter sort of like in Super Stardust Delta where it charged your special meter.

I've been playing on Veteran, and I'm at the third world (ice world). Maybe I'll stream a little bit later or something.

Yeah try resogun it's great. I wish it would save between phases. It's a tough game but like anything you get better as you keep trying.
 
I've been following craplist the last few days. I log on now and see that if I go for PS4 with newest ads, there are now a lot with a 5 at the start. Seems people have dropped their prices quickly. I could get one for sure under $600, most are in the $550-599 range.

EDIT: Xbox 360 prices have crashed in the last week on CL, from what I can tell. I had a tough time selling mine with a disc drive issue but managed $100 this past week with some very old games, but at the time all the others were $150-200-350+ (yes, really). Now they are $100-150 all day long. Looks like people just waited until they had their ps4 in hand before selling.

Has anyone tried a G27 logitech wheel with NFS yet? I'm curious if the wheel will even work on the PS4, I know there were initially some reports that it would and dependent on developer to support it but it's an expensive wheel and hope it's functional with at least a couple of racers. On the PS3, it seems to work with any racer from what I've played.

JetMoto was an example, still there are tons of great titles in the PS1's library that could do good with a reboot, especially now at launch with a well remembered title.
