GameStop by me at 5:15 had 10 people in line, but I assume many had preorders and wanted the 6:00 tickets. Target I called guy said non-reserved selection is very limited but wouldn't give a number. Called walmart he said he has half a dozen non-reserved but 3 already in line, this 6.5 hours before they sell them. Only 6!
 
Mine finally shipped but UPS changed their route and now they don't deliver in my area until 6PM instead of 11AM. First world problem for sure but I have no other outlet to vent right now. 🙁

Wow that's crazy. Glad I reserved mine. Going to just stay up tonite and finish gta v. Then I'll go pick my ps4 tomorrow in the morning.

cant you call them and ask them to hold it and pick it up earlier?

Sometimes I get a bit lazy with it and don't update it on a timely manner. It got worse after my Zenbook's SSD decided to take a turn for the worse as the Zenbook was rather nice for updating the spreadsheet. Sometimes, I'll just update it using my iPad/iPhone and Smart Office, which works fairly well. My rule is that an item has to lay down on the shelf until it's cataloged, so that way I know what I have and have not dealt with yet.

Although, I've been selling a lot of games lately, so I haven't been nearly as diligent at removing items from the spreadsheet. 😛

Are they also limiting them to one per person? Could be really easy to sell out if each person wants more than one!
 
I see mine is about to be shipped, although the time estimate is 8PM...since I had it delivered to work that means I probably wont get it till Monday. Such an unusual time to expect delivery...I wonder if Amazon is losing their margins on these since they might have had to make special deals with couriers to deliver these by the release date.
 
Finally got my pre-order ordeal sorted out with NCIX. Took a week to solve a problem that should have taken 5min. Anywho, looks like I'll get my PS4 sometime in the next week or two.

I think they all say "by 8 p.m." on the Amazon site. I would not expect it would actually be delivered that late. When I go to the actual UPS site it says it will be delivered "by end of day." Based on my past experience with Amazon I expect to receive it before noon.

Ok Mr programming engineer. The device doesn't talk to the system the same way as ps3. The game has to be coded so that it can recognize the ps3 controllers. If a developer just uses the standard ps4 one cause they are making a ps4 game...I dont really blame them for that. Yeah it sucks but whatever...how many sticks do you have that this is a big deal? I am also pretty sure capcom will built functionality into usf4 when the time comes.

Again we have someone claiming something is very simple to do without knowing the details of the OS and how games operate on the system. Just like everyone claiming changing the XB1 from always on and 24 hour check in to the opposite. Shuhei Yoshida said something similar in his interview, that something that seems simple from the outside often is something that takes engineers and programmers a while to get working correctly.

i might go snag killzone tonight from gamestop so i can try that and knack out. already got $50 in store credit at gamestop so might just spend it on kz. they will only give me $26 for knack so not worth it, i'd rather try it out. i'll give some impressions later on.
 
Not to make the At forums my personal blog but I just checked the tracking site and got this:

"The address issue with your package has been corrected by the carrier but delivery could be delayed by at least a day."

Guess I get to wait longer.
 
I'm camped out at Meijer, they have 57 here up for grabs, one per person though. I got here at 7PM and am #22. Guess the first two got here around 4PM.

Yeah waste of money too. Others would love to have one and enjoy it. My little brother is begging me to talk my mother into letting him stay at my place so he can skip school tomorrow and try it out.

I'll probably bring it over for him to play a game next time I visit.

Its probably an investment. If the channel is monetized it'll bring in views, subs, etc.

Definately let us know how the update goes and weather you did the usb way or internet.
