I ordered on June 10. The Amazon website says the status is "shipping," but no tracking number is yet available. I have no doubt they will get it right - Amazon has never done me wrong, and I've spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the last 14 years or so.

Ordered mine on June 10th within 30 minutes of pre-orders going live. Still showing as "not yet shipped", hasn't budged. However, I have two distribution centers within an hour from my house, so I'm sure mine is being shipped tomorrow.

Amazon knows what they're doing in order to ensure every one of these gets delivered on Friday.

I'm in the LA area, there's an Amazon warehouse about an hour away but mine is shipping from Arizona. Either way I'm sure it's coming on time for Friday.
 
I'm pretty sure everyone will get theirs Friday as long as usps doesn't mess up or whatever they used. Amazon shipments have always come on time for me.
 
Preordered amazon June 13. It shipped hours ago and tracking is now giving a tracking number with delivery Friday. I think everyone will get theirs. This represents no huge effort for amazon IMO.
 
I'm now reading elsewhere that one of the supposedly broken PS4 systems was unplugged while it was downloading an update and corrupted the HDD. Unplugging the HDD and starting up without it then starting up with the HDD prompted a restore and it works now.

It wasn't actually the system in the end, it was user error.

I recommend downloading the update to a USB drive and loading it to your PS4 in safe mode. That way if the download hangs because of server problems you won't need to worry. Instructions in the link.

Ordered June 10th. Still processing shipment. Seeing that I live in the sticks, I foresee myself getting it on Monday.
 
mine was processing all day and i got the shipment notice at like 5 PM. i preordered mine the moment they went live

a buddy that preordered like 3 days later had his shipping notice at like 7 Am

it looks to be really random
 
Mine still not yet shipped either, ordered minutes after they went live.

I'll have Knack and Killzone tomorrow, Madden whenever it comes in stock. Bought Knack mostly for my son, but I hope it's decent so I can get some play time in too 😎

Yeah looks like if you have a server issue which could be likely on launch, that you may soft brick it. I downloaded the update and it's sitting on a usb stick. I'm not trying to have any issues Friday morning with tons of people getting this update.
 
i will be playing bf4 this weekend, sometime next week i will get ac4 and killzone, was gonna get cod but i changed my mind and canned the order and re made it with kz instead

Still broken IMO.

Beginning to apply a system update before the file is completely downloaded and verified? Come on. Server problems shouldn't brick a system.
 
Mine is showing shipped as of one hour ago. Ordered it on June 27th. I had bought the Watch Dogs bundle, which got changed to a launch edition. I don't know if that mattered or not.
