What you say is true as well. He may have a broken one but personally I am not worried. I mean there is a warranty for a reason and this is kind of expected in a way, that someone somewhere will have an issue with new hardware. I have always bought the extended warranties on launch consoles myself.

Also I never said this guy was a troll but that neogaf is full of them and there are threads with multiple pages of nonsense.
 
I'll worry about it when mine shows and up and does not work. Otherwise I do not care in the slightest.

I think you can either buy extended warranty after you get your console or when you pick it up at the store. I would prefer not to go with such a warranty from best buy since they charge more.
 
Early consoles have problems. I would buy an extended warranty on mine but there don't seem to really be great ones--$35 for some service sold on amazon to cover the second year after manufacturer warranty dies. Maybe it is worth it....if it turns out these are having a lot of early issues I will sell it a year or two down the road and buy a new one before mine breaks I guess. I didn't have good luck with my 360 and ps2.

Uh huh...cause on the first pages I looked it there was nothing. If I dont get ANY details or pictures or follow up within 3 pages I am not going to continue looking at a thread. Sorry if I expect people to actually be thorough from the get go and think reading through pages of jokes about taco bell and whatever else is a waste of my time.

Guy is streaming Knack and using the camera. Answering questions and such, he is playing coop. The game looks pretty good and he is like on the 4th chapter so far and says him and his friend are enjoying it a lot. Not easy either. He is using his phone for internet to Stream, so he had to mess with the quality settings a little.

Honestly , I found the Knack demo to be "hard" because of the bland combat system not actual difficulty. I think the game should simply be priced lower... maybe at about $40 like Sly Cooper was earlier this year.

I thought it was an in store exchange. If they send it out anyway what is the point? Microsoft has always sent me a box prepaid. I have never dealt with sony.

I could agree with that. It's definitely not a $60 purchase for me.
 
just got my shipping notification for my taco bell ps4, i will have it by tomorrow morning at 10:30am! will be working but my wife will be home to sign so i won't be able to play it until tomorrow evening.

it comes with knack and 1yr of ps+. and knack unfortunately has a NOT FOR RESALE barcode on it with all 0's for the number, so i can't go trade it at walmart, poor me 🙁

most likely just going to keep this since i'm not strap for cash now and will eventually want a ps4, so might as well.

You can still trade it to Gamestop for whatever value they'd offer. They take promo games with no barcode. I don't know what it'd be worth though.

yeah i wonder what they would give for it considering they are doing the extra trade in towards ps4 stuff lol. only other game i really will consider at launch is killzone. not really excited about that or knack, but those are the 2 i'd probably want to try out.

In store exchange is for their black guard geek squad warranty which costs even more. It's different for many items. But yea I would expect Sony to pay shipping. I paid 30 dollars at Wal-Mart for an extra 2 years of warranty on ps3 compared to the $180 they wanted at best buy.

If you are a gamestop rewards card member, I am pretty sure all the extra trade in stacks. So, you might get close to retail.

Well, you get resogun and contrast free with PSN+ anyway. Resogun looks fantastic, but if you don't like arcade shooters...

oh nice, i didn't know they were free with psn+. the psn+ isn't redeemable until friday anyways so tomorrow night i may crack open knack, or see how much gamestop will give me for knack. if i could get like $50 for it (doubtful) i'd pay $10 for killzone. i might just buy killzone since i got $50 in store credit at gamestop for the TE2 stick that i'm 99.9% not getting from gamestop anyways.
