I have a date with Wii U and 3DS XL on the 22nd.

Super Mario 3D World and Link Between Worlds are the big holiday releases for me.

Going to try to restrain myself from Zelda until the holiday weekend. Play video games all day to the smell of turkey in the background like old times 😛

He did have pics but I wasn't sure what I was looking at. One was a screen that said hdmi 3, another screen shot looked like a ps4 but more curved?

Oh well, looks firmware related. Probably bricked if it won't do anything. It's not like I'm not expecting launch consoles to not have issues.

Pretty sure one was a receiver, the other was the PS4 showing us which light is blinking.

I must admit: that thread is quite hilarious, I got a kick out of it.

I feel like the majority of it is just sarcasm, but it seems that some people honestly equate a broken electronic device to being sent to the gulag.

the HDMI 3 was a pic of his HK receiver--showing that it was set to HDMI 3 (assuming where he linked his PS$) and that the channel was showing no video--so not receiving a signal from his PS4.

I think the second pic is supposed to show that the light is not solid, but flashing, or however he described it. ....I think a picture is useless for that, though.

I think it was mostly to show he actually has a PS4 and is not some internet troll clamoring about having a broken console without a console. It would make little sense for him to actually have a console and take the time out of playing it to make up it being broken to get a little attention on NeoGaf. All he would have to for that is find an obscure Banderas movie and make a gif from it.

I wouldn't be surprised if in our own Xbox One thread someone comes in claiming they got a launch RRoD and doesn't even have a console. Fanboys thrive on being able to associate their own image with that of the company / product they love; and nothing proves you're better than the other failing!
