Not quite sure how I feel about it. At first glance, when in a game view, there's crap everywhere but I'm sure it will be fine once you get used to what is where.

One weird thing I noticed is everyone commenting on the fact that he was watching a live match and then was able to join it within 6 seconds. Killzone developers tweeted it was a live demo of the UI. However, the in-game time in the match showed right at 51 seconds left in that match when he selects "Join", but 6 seconds later he's in the match with it showing 35 seconds left. Where did that 10 seconds go?

EDIT: Maybe a delay in watching the feed, when I think more about it.

Your edit is the most likely answer. Feed delay is pretty common for live stream stuff. When I was watching The International 3 (Dota 2) the other week, the client and and Twitch streams were as little as 3secs apart up to 15 seconds apart for some matches.
 
I really like the UI. Select your game and it shows you all the relevant info about it before you hit play. Very similar to how steam presents you with news, related content, and your trophies when you look at your library. It's also familiar to those of us who have used a PS3.

Agreed. I like the UI as well. I'm glad they kept the similar layout as the PS3 as it really is very clear and easy to jump to other parts of the system from there. It seemed nice and smooth and responsive as well while giving lots of info for the game you selected. I hope they have dynamic backgrounds again, I still use the default one just because it is so classy looking.

I also like the UI and it seemed very responsive and looks so easy to navigate
 
Looking for to November. The UI isn't anything revolutionary, but it seems to do the job and not lag or bury options. The 360 UI was never concise which is my biggest issue with it.
 
So far I'm going to get bf4, ghosts, and watchdogs. Not sure what else on launch day. I figure I'll wait and see what you all say about other games like knack. My best buy will have a midnight release. If I'm not in elevation calls at work I may go to it or probably do a half day and treat myself to some missed gaming I haven't done in a really long time.

Many places use that as a placeholder release date for something they don't know when it will release but they have already said they will be available on launch.

Edit:

Sorry, they will be available during launch in Europe and no release date for US, just that they'll be out later this year.

Lol pretty sure at launch we might all have the same games. My pc will probably take a break from gaming in November mainly because my friends never listened to me when I mentioned building a good computer.

Everyone will have Driveclub at launch, at least the PS+ edition. Didn't Sony say that every PS4 will come with 14 days of PS+ to see the advantages of it, and if you are already a PS3 owner, chances are you own PS+ already because it is awesome.

They did mention you get 14 days free of psn+. I don't have it yet because I haven't touched the console in months. I also saw some pre order editions at best buy that included a extra twelve months of psn+ and I think an extra controller ?

They already have a list of launch games on the best buy site so you can browse through all games available that day, and see if any stores in your area will have a midnight release. I'm sure there will be some free game you can have with psn plus as it's already in affect now for ps3. I think it's every month or so they were giving one away. I remember seeing hitman absolution on there.

Yes and for Europeans that already have PS+ they will get and extra 90 days free
 
Surprised no one has mentioned Rime yet.

It looks like Journey + Ico + Wind Waker lol, really interested in this game but I have to see gameplay.

I can see that being a big deal if you are a console exclusive gamer. Personally, I always go with the PC version if I have a choice.

You know what I mean...if it's on PC/Xbox One/PS4 I will buy the PC version.

If it's Xbox One/PS4 then I'll go with the PS4 version until I buy the Xbox One and then it mainly depends on which controller I prefer.

I think the number of console COD sales versus PC is something like 15 to 1, and I think its the most played online console game. I personally will be buying BF4 on PC, but I think that will matter to a lot of people.

Blasted Sony. Even after the price cut, the price disparity between the 32GB Vita memory card and a 32GB MicroSD card is greater now than it was at the launch of the Vita.

$80 for $25 of NAND is absurd. Especially since if you intend to download most of your games and/or are going to make liberal use of PS+, you absolutely must have the largest card.
 
I've never played the other killzone games. For some reason it reminds me of resistance I dunno why. Although it's not the same. I'm unsure if I would like it. Kind of feel the same about knack and that game at first looked kind of fun.
