who gives a shit about the rrod and xbox360, in a ps4 thread. do you all have stock invested in these companies or something?
god damn the fanboyism in this thread is astounding!
It didn't even take 2 years. Are you just blabbing to blab? There was ~8mo period at most (if you had launch day consoles) where you could have been outside of your 1 year warranty, and that's if you had an issue.
So someone who's system broke in 2006 (it came out in November 2005) and subsequently replaced and trashed the old one gets nothing. That's precisely what I am talking about.
you should cry about it more, it will make you feel better.
And you can stop responding if it gets your panties in a twist.
well it is a tad annoying when i see a new response has been made in this thread and i come to check what the new ps4 talk is about, yet for the past 3 days it's turned into a fanboy war about the xbox360 and ps3.
I am so glad that I can enjoy both systems. They are both awesome systems.

This, seriously can we stay on topic?
The sheer amount of indie games for PS4 (and the streamlining of the process) makes me wonder, what does this mean for Steambox?

Can somebody here convince as to why I would want a ps4 when it comes out?
In my mind, I already have a decent gaming PC set up. All I need to keep doing is upping my GPU/CPU (mobo when needed) and hook it up to my large TV, and play PC games using a console controller.
I only play FPS using the PC, so my ps3 now is only used to go on netflix, and play campaigns like Bioshock, GOW, etc etc.
I think steam box will just fail because they don't have the pull for grabbing exclusives from consoles and it will probably run off of Linux which means no directx and that's like 99% of the games released on PC today.
Besides Linux, Mac, IOS, Android, Playstation, and Nintendo games don't use DirectX. Not having DirectX is meaningless.
