Ill look into getting the app. I gave up on the my player for a while, ill go back to it when I have around 20,000 VC saved up to dump into my player

The whole simulation thing takes like 5 min and you can delete your mygm save and redo it each time. I'll see if I can link it.

You don't get as much as they say I think it was patched but I did get a couple grand. In ten minutes I had about 4k then I accidentally paid to send players to camp or something and that cost a lot.
 
I just turned the game on ill give it a try. I dumped a bunch of coins into buying perks in the beginning since they were expensive so I'm a little behind when it comes to my actual stats

How long does the 20% last?
 
That's a sweet deal on a controller for sure. Too bad ill never use a extra. I've been holding off on accessories this time around I wasted a lot of cash last Gen. Stuff literally collected dust that I bought.
 
I'm hoping they try to push the digital downloads hard on the store and start having some good sale prices. I'd buy everything digital if I could save a chunk on the games I strictly play online. That sale they have on the store now is weak
 
I was out of town this weekend and the Wal Mart in the small town I was visiting had many Xbox Ones out but no PS4s.

I was just at Best Buy and they had a bunch of Xbox Ones as well, but no PS4s.

I have yet to see any PS4s sitting anywhere since launch.
 
I was able to squeeze in an order via Amazon during lunch when it briefly showed in stock. Have AC4 and Killzone on the way. I am thinking of picking up NBA 2k14 and Battlefiled 4 soon (although I have a pretty good PC). Any suggestions on games besides these?
 
I hate to ask a stupid question... every review on the planet seems to say NO PS3 COMPATIBILITY but my supervisor insists his buddy has one and can play PS3 games on it.

So what gives? Is it backwards compatible or not?
 
playstation finally arrived!!! now i have a few questions, can you play movies via a flash drive in MKV format like you can with a blu ray players? also how long does the controller have to be plugged in before you can use it wirelessly? will it charge while the playstation is turned off? sorry for all the questions!! thanx

You can not play movies via USB or disk. You can only play standard DVD or Blu-Ray formats or one of the movies you stream. MKV also likely won't work at all in the end as the XB1 cannot playback any MKV files via DLNA and my PS3 also had this problem. Especially with Anime.

The controller will work as long as it turns on. It doesn't need any specific amount of battery. It will charge when the system is in standby (Orange light on top of the console) but not completely off.

Further to cmdredd Sony says they will add dlna at some point and I expect the ability to run movie off flash. Annoyed it isn't there yet.
 
Yeah the add-on stuff will come in the next software update, my guess is once they iron out all patches for stability, which mine has been very stable so far, that they will work on features.

Definitely get bf4 and nba 2k14. Rent killzone and finish it. Not worth the 60 bucks unless you will continuously play mp on it or want to keep to show friends the great graphics.

I have so many devices to stream from now it's rediculous. My TV can stream videos, my Phone, my Blu-Ray Player, my new receiver will support DLNA, my Xbox One. I don't really need the PS4 to do it at this point lol.

Personally my Blu-Ray player has a better interface and faster loading than either the PS4 or Xbox One so I will be keeping that even when the XB1 and PS4 get 3D support.
 
So I am fairly certain my DS4 just died. Wont' charge (or charge indicator) whether plugged into the PS4 or wall-outlet. Even while plugged in I get nodda - if I hold down the PS button the controller flashes white and then the system tells me to charge it. So I can't use it at all.

I picked up an extra controller during the target promotion - plug it in using same cable it charges right away. My guess would be the port in the bad one is gone as I cant use it while plugged in. Awesome. I guess I'll try to warranty it.
